I'm interested in 9800GX2 & 280, will look for recommendations .... Seriously, keep us posted, mine has been video off a couple of time but I suspect heat. Only problem is, I never heard of them, but they make the fastest 280 on the block. XFX has double life time warranty http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...65&CatId=28 $469 xxx is the over clock model Mem clock 2500 shader clock 1450 They make a slightly less ram version 894mb of ram for $329 @ newwegg. 2 of these in sli would be the fastest of all. With the warranty it should last a life time. If not they will send you anouther new one. NoScream~SPARTA~ Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Only thing I would say, is, the comparisons with the 9800 series the 280 looks disappointing in benchmarks in general but it has the advantage of being a generation up.
