This game has plenty of potential and modding is available right down to the cars

physical structure (3D modeling).

The function of the LED is not fixed they can display whatever information your game supplies. For LFS any LED can have to following function. Always off, Always on, Shift light(flashing or nonflashing), Handbrake, Pitlimiter(flashing or nonflashing), left & right turn signal, Redline, Oil warn, Fullbeam, Low fuel (flashing or nonflashing), TC light, RPM light.

 

Yes it works with rFactor. Rpm bar, Shiftlight, Gear, Low fuel warning. And i made a plugin for Nascar2003 too.

 

Prices are:

Minimum Kit 49,- ? (only PIC, USB Plug is soldered)

Partly assembled 59,- ? (all 'bottom side' devices are soldered)

Once the Evaluation is done on stability & server load with the dedicated exe,

I will be racing this game.

 

The graphics are not as good as GTR2 but it's not always about graphics.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cobol suggested a project for the G25 wheel and I said I would do the front end if he does

the the back end software. The project is to add a full Formula 1 VFD (display) Shift lights,

selected Gear, Pit limiter, Neutral & pit select buttons & confirmation Lights.

 

All to be powered from the G25 after a simple retro fit of the center hub.

Connection to the PC is via USB and the new features will be set into a config file

with instructions.

 

My wheel is in pieces at the moment for photos & diagnostics of the possibility of

powering the retro fit via the G25.

 

Soon as that's off the board and cobol starts to program a mock up

then I will assemble my wheel ;)
