I think the main reason none were hurt had alot to do with little or no traction; allowing cars to bounce off each other like billiard balls, or bumper cars. In addition, managing to run over a track marshal without hurting and/or killing him is amazing. He is definately a very very lucky man. On the other hand, the following is an excellent example of how to completely destroy your car in one "oh no" moment. He really did destroy it... I doubt they will be able to salvage anything.
