Every time i load the forums i'm not logged in and have to login, even though iv asked FF to remember my login - which it does.

 

Yes I have cleared my cache.

 

Any ideas?

It could be a knock on effect from yesterdays hosting issues.

 

You've done the obvious, next thing is to try a different browser just for a day and see if it works better, let us know,

log out, clear cookies, log in.

 

must be able to clear cookies for a specific site, but not looked into that before.

I'm not getting that issue with firefox, as I use it myself.

 

Do you check the "remember me" box when logging in? Or just ask firefox to remember your information? I believe the former might be required, while the latter might do just about nothing.

 

I mean I'm not trying to be condescending here if you already tried it, I just note that the simplest solutions are often overlooked. If not, you could always try reinstalling firefox or switching browsers, but I don't think its a firefox issue (or a difficult to fix one) if I'm not getting it with the same OS and browser. Of course it could still be.
