The FV fires 2x the speed of the MAUS with only slightly less power but more penetration. It rotates faster, moves it's turret faster & crosses the battlefield nearly 2x faster. The only advantage of the MAUS over the FV is with shear ARMOUR, 200% thicker in the thinnest place & 60 % thicker in the thickest place. MAUS ARMOUR is like a ARMADILLO. Basically the only advantage of a MAUS is with it's ARMOUR, all other points the FV beats it. custard~SPARTA~ Posted October 13, 2012 Share Posted October 13, 2012 The Maus is very difficult to use, if Floyd hadn't suggested playing his IS4 as a team with my Maus I wouldn't be using it all.
