I have not owned a TV subscription since 2006. Its a waist of money as far as I'm concerned. The only shows I watch are discovery channel and history channel anyways. You can watch nearly EVERYTHING that comes out on TV online anyways. Only downfall is that its not RIGHT when it comes out. Most of the networks have their shows uploaded online to watch for free. Mainstream news channels are nothing but government propaganda anyways, on record. I get my news from talk radio and that's free. The cable providers out here have a monopoly and I refuse to pay them for shit that I can get for free. When I built my new computer, I used my old parts to put together a cheap desktop that sits next to my TV in the living room. Its tied into my home network and I have a 1tb hdd in it. I have about 250 movies stored on the hdd and can watch any of them I want on my big screen in a click of a button. Plus navigate the web from my couch and stream anything online.

Hold it hold it!! I have a perfectly good computer that I will sell you for just at $1000 today if u want it. It has DOS, 2x's 50gb hdd in radd 81, a pickle in place of the video card (awesome), and a mouse. No cpu but u don't need one with this bad boy! You buy NOW!
