i tried the sound of war mod for about a day, but had some crash issues i think. the sounds were awesome thouhg, especially the m16 family.

These are pics of Sgt.Zim/USNA2016 driving skills on ARMA 2. we were then stranded 5000m in the middle of nowhere. we then continued to hammer mr. zim for his driving skills or lack of driving skills, notice the GPS, enjoy!

that would be something to see, in the middle of a firefight, most of the team is down and heres a guy, dancing his way into town with bullets flying past him.

after seeing all the 1.0 and 2.0 on gamespot and ign, for sure will stay far away from this one. good going IW you completely left the community that made you, ungrateful pricks.

i installed win 7 home prem 64bit yesterday and jumped on TS today and got some sound error message. none of the sounds play in TS and cant here anyone, but my regular sound works for other games and stuff. anyone else get this prob?

yeah the TS thing sounds good, atleast you know you will eliminate most of the asshats from the server. the pole thing soudns good as well. and another part is a gamestyle i use to play on the 1st ID server. instead of using helos to transport everywhere use humvee/lav25/mtvr's convoys to get around. it is actually alot more fun have everyone loaded into 5 or 6 vehicles all rolling down the road instead of 1 helo. the teamwork aspect works great, and can also encourage players to use vehicles like the hummers, and mtvr varieties.

will u consider adding dynamic weather to the list, if it does work out it will only bring more realism into play. dynamic weather

i believe you should hear differences in the m16/m4 family, the dmr, g36 family, silenced versions, m24,m40, explosives, launchers, frags, smoke, Beretta, ak family, svd, and prob some other russian weapons, haven't confirmed those yet.

yep got it sorted out with mh6, good stuff loud stuff.

i seem to be having a problem with mine, i created the @vopsound_2.1 folder/addons folder then cut and paste the actual pbo and bisign files to the addons folder, i changed the targt path and tried to join the server, i got a message saying vops_c_environmental.pbo all the way through vops_s_impact.pbo are not signed by server, plz remove or add sign key to use. and i have a question on armaholic page where i got this, theres something on the bottom that says required addon>vopsound signed or somthing like that, where do i put those files?

yeah seems theres no key for it yet, maybe on later versions, its cool ill give vop a go. getting tired of the stock ak fire

so vop 2.1 is currently the only mod allowed? that isnt final correct, meaning more will be allowed in the future.

speaking of sound mods, do the sparta servers allow any, i dled the soundofwar mod and tried to get on, and denied me, i just quickly jumped on another to see how it sounds...pretty good, then i removed the shortcut stuff, to jump back on sparta. if you do allow mods like this plz, allow the soundofwar sound mod.
