Well for me, far cry 2 was rubbish but the original was a blast so I hope it's more like that.

Think I sorted it. I have just one key mapped to Direct channel not Von. I chose caps lock but wonder if that means I talk over ts at the same time as direct which is pointless really. Everyone on this weekend?

i was disappointed with the maps of vietnam - not much on them just a lot of vegetation and little imagination.

Another mod I am downloading now is Vietnam: The Experience. I'll see if it's worth playing.

loved insurgency and playing with the fellas - ive played with many clans before but this one is great - everyone is chilled and works well together so thanks. re: direct communication ingame - if someone can take a screenshot so i can see their setup and mimic it bcoz i like the direct chat - more realistic. loved ACRE too but fiddly.

Ive never played insurgency, can u explain how it works

Also a new video setting with latest patch, can't remember what heading it sits under but look for FXAA sharp. Will add a crispier detail to the environment and textures.

A good session today. About 10 playing at various times across the nite/day.

And for those who haven't been involved yet, the coop missions have been a blast so far, white knuckle stuff but with a manageable degree of difficulty

I'll try to get there but I think coop missions will be easier to manage then 100+ ai and tanks etc in an AO.

Not sure if this was advertised here before but I had tried it a couple of years ago. http://www.thehunter.com/pub/ It's come a long way since it first kicked off when they only had deer as prey. Now they have moose, bear, coyote and birds. The site also hosts competitions - most kills, biggest beast in each category. Great fun and free to play the basic version - cheap to buy permits to explore the whole park and hunt more animals. Visually stunning game and great hunting sim tracking and luring animals. Lighty.
