It would seem that this snowman does indeed perform a general liquidation not only of abstraction, but also of everything that goes into it (earnestness, sincerity, lifestyle, palette, the gesture, all-over composition, even snow itself, which in the builders hands takes on an unnatural photographic aura). This is done through a process of negation. By constructing through erasure, they literally and symbolically empties the gesture of its affirmative value and its power to suggest that which cannot be signified (ie, the transcendental). In the place of abstraction, they installs a negative theology. This proceeds by ironically embracing the terms of a given tradition and then turning them inside out or on their head. At its best, this negative theology generates a genuine discursive tension; at its worst, it becomes a superficial strategy in which mere irreverence passes for criticality or real engagement. In some parts of the snowman, the irreverent mode of this theology has become an aesthetic shibboleth, making it an all but compulsory attitude, a mandatory impiety. But what sets this snowman apart from others is that his deployment of irony dissimulates a fundamental, if classical, investment in building snowmen ? as proven by how laboured the snowman actually is ? such that other builders seem to practise what he preaches, while they actually practise it, to a fault. While Dai, Zebb and I were sitting on the hill waiting for the convoy last night I had a lock up with my machine, completley losing windows and everything else with it. The display went all weird as if someone had ripped the vid card out of the mother board. By the time I got back, only Dai was still there with Inimigo, and my TS wasn't working. Hopefully my machine is okay, but that's the last time I nip onto the server for two minutes to test something .

My .bikey files are in the "..."\ARMA\Keys" folder I think ACE is running on Server 2 and 4. Make sure you go to the ACE wiki pages to see what new features are in it. No more running for miles with a full load out, being able to use the secondary sights on the ACOG etc, dragging your injured mates out of the line of fire ... And that's just the little improvements Edit :- Medic beat me to it. I just tried to connect to Server 2 with just 1.15 and it hung, it will connect with 1.15 and ACE so it looks like both servers are running the same at the moment. Server 4 was running Domination, and 2 was for smaller ad hoc missions IIRC.
