I've flown a heli and that's EXACTLY what it's like. In fact I think this is the sim the army uses...

I'm no expert but I'll tell my experience. We got a 42" Philips plasma 1080p as a wedding gift from her family. Beautiful picture but the sound is unusable. It's so distorted you have to run external sound. Plus it's suffering a little bit from burn in at the boundary between normal and wide screen. If I were to get another 42" flat panel I'd go with an LCD. My brother inlaw has a Vizio 42" LCD and it's awesome. Good price too. I have no experience with front or rear projection TVs but some of the rear projection DLP TVs are amazing.

I'm no authority on this but I believe you are not intended to be moderated. I think they are having some issues with the old database being sucked into the new forum. Peeps are working on it. You can't expect everything to snap into place after such an event.
