Battlefield - Bad Company (June 2008)

Thanks to SpooN for putting us onto this on, on X360 & PS3 but probably PC mid 2008,

we will keep our eye on it, in the mean time watch.

 

Background: Dice the developer, has a long history in PC games (especially RACeEgames),

now developing on PS3 & XBOX360. website www.dice.se in cahoots with EA games.

Looks like a friggen HOOT!!! but EA and dice oh no! a bad combination there, be ready for 4 day long pacthes and LAGGG! Or we will probley have to install the ea downloader and it will cause a conflect and lock up your machine causeing a reformatt to fix it, been there before.

On a brighter note Dice make some cracking games and EA have let the leash out on

developers since their earlier days. I hope this does come to PC, I love the concept

of fully blow the battlefield away.

PC and PSP in Bad Company

It appears the newly announced Battlefield game is embracing more

than just Xbox 360 and PSPA Digital Illusions press release - in Swedish - announcing Battlefield:

Bad Company that's appeared on the developer's website seems to confirm that the game won't

be limited to next-gen consoles.Bad Company's already been announced for PS3 and Xbox 360,

of course, but in the press release we're told - according to translation - that "More information

about the PC and PSP versions will be presented at a later time". Obviously, the PSP Bad

Company experience would be somewhat different to that offered by its next-gen console cousins,

but it sounds like PC gamers are in for a title tailored a little more exclusively to the platform

as opposed to a direct port - although that is speculation.

Sorry Viiiper. The game looks great, And I really hope its great, But historicly speaking EA and dice don't have a good track record. But hopefully things have changed for the best, and they have learned from the past. I was sounding positive as I could be from bad experences from the past battlefeild2 2142 and expansions. I will try it, it looks like fun! I have the whole bf2 series for sale any takers?
