Durka-Durka~SPARTA~ Posted March 15, 2009 Share Posted March 15, 2009 This is really amazing. I've seen color photos from WWI, but these are beautiful. Everything seems to look so much....cleaner. It kind of distorts the mind a bit, because we're all trained to think of the distant past in black 'n white, and here we are looking at it in color. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Its interesting to see that one windmill shot, where the windmills are b/w but everything else is in color. i'm guessing this was one of his earlier photos and he painted it.
