The mood and settings, even the events that take place could have all been written by classic cyberpunk writers and novelists. However, if a picture is worth a thousand words, what is an entire film worth? I begin this list of films as suggested watching for the EVE players of LoS with: At the very top is: "Blade Runner" http://imdb.com/title/tt0083658/ Also to watch (in particular order) is: "Serenity" http://imdb.com/title/tt0379786/ "The Fifth Element" http://imdb.com/title/tt0119116/ "Aeon Flux" http://imdb.com/title/tt0402022/ "Johnny Mnemonic" http://imdb.com/title/tt0113481/ "Strange Days" http://imdb.com/title/tt0114558/ And of course, "The Matrix Trilogy" http://imdb.com/title/tt0133093/ Add the cyberpunk films of your liking to the list. Also, after thinking about it for a few minutes, there are plenty of T.V. shows that are very relatable to EVE. Battlestar Galactica FireFly/Serenity, to name two. Oh wow! i used to watch this, but have never ever been able to remember the name of the show.
