Zeno~SPARTA~
It race weekend for one of the greatest endurance road races in the world. Top Gear magazine ran an article with some of the winners over the years. My favourites are the Bentley Speed Six, the Jaguar D type, Ferrari 250 TR Ford GT40 and the Mazda 787b http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/gallery-the-greatest-le-mans-cars-ever-2015-06-12 This year the Japanese have come back with another atypical entry the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo. It is a Le Mans P1 (LMP1) car but incredibly it has a front engine layout (abandoned in this class many moons ago) and to make matters worse it is Front Wheel Drive, thats 1250 bhp, steering and braking through the front wheels. http://www.wired.com/2015/02/nissans-outlandish-new-race-car-much-needed-dose-insanity/ After roughly 4 hours a Porsche 919 Hybrid is in the lead followed by a couple of Audi R18 Etron's. Zeno~SPARTA~
Nice comeback for Porsche 1st, 2nd, 5th. Audi 3rd and 4th. Toyota 6th. Nissan FWD nowhere. Well done Corvette C7 in the GTE class. This is the most interesting class for me, this year it was contested by Aston Martin, Corvette, Ferrari and Porsche.
