Hello all you arma 2 mission editors. I want to get deep into mission editing but can't find an official editor guide. I found an arma 1 editor pdf on armaholics that someone made and it seems pretty in depth. My question is where did you all get your know how? There is so much to know that it is over whelming. If you could give me any advice it would be appreciated. Also is there a way to download a mission from armaholics and open it in the editor and perform surgery on it to see how it works?

Downloading these maps now. I don't understand when people say that Sahrani is to big to DL. Even with 500gig HDs?? I don't get it, whats another 3 gigs anyway Sahrani is a way better map the Chernarus IMO granted the AI are more of a challenge but that makes you play more tactical and keeps immature kids off the server, well it keeps just about everybody off lol come on people please join me on the sahrani severer once and i while I swear youll have a good time ;) If your into CQC Sahrani is your map!

I run an i7 920 OC to 3.8 rock solid with hyper-threading turned off. Ive read on the bi forums that arma doesn't like hyper threading and i limit the ram 2 gigs. I get a ctd maybe once a week other than that it plays well but not perfect hopefully Bohemia will get a patch that optimizes the game more. we can only hope and wait.. to get back on point Quad core is the way to go for arma..... do it do it now

Just wanted to say Arma is running well so far in multiplayer with settings on high full grass and 4500 VD im getting 60FPS! That was only at the base thought, Im going on now to play a few games to see how it really is........

Hey medic that was my problem I just wanted my system to boot win7. If you want to change that, google bcdedit there is a program called easy bcdedit its free and you can change you boot drive and a number of other things ;). Its not a mobo thing............

hey guys just about done Im installing arma now then the patches then the addons and so on. So far windows 7 is cool no problems yet except with my boot device sequence but it was an easy fix... im itching to play!!!! see you guys soon

Hi guys I'm having problems with my system so I'm not gonna be on the arma servers for a bit. It should be up and running by weeks end. Im installing windows 7 so i order 2 new VelociRaptor HD's. I'm hoping for some performance gains with arma. I'm just concerned about the drivers for the gpu's, GTX 260 in SLI and the mobo P6T v2 if anybody has any experience with windows 7 and those components feel free to express your experience thanks.............
