  1. well the beta testing was a great success - we found a few bugs! and couldn't actually play the missions. i will work on those this week in preparation for next weekend. we did in the meantime have a crack at Podagorsk mission 1 and while we got our asses handed to us first go, second attempt we completed all objectives, however, we failed to make the extraction as some well-placed patrols picked the team off. but im still marking it as a win it was evident that most of us are pretty rusty but as we progressed we seemed to find our feet...should only improve with time. we have all agreed that we should make this a regular event so same time next week and will have 2-4 hours of coop gaming. my desert siege missions should be sorted by then with possibly a 3rd one ready by then too.
  2. there is room i believe - but you will know for sure if you are one of the 8 that inserts.
  3. can an admin plz upload these missions to server and ensure Dingor/Lingor and if necessary TF86 units are ready too. http://www.gamefront.com/files/22448268/ds_01_ds_02_missions.rar
  4. Operation: Desert Siege Mission: DS_02 Flamer Pillar Date: 08 December 2012 Time: 100 hours Location: Sth-West Dingor. Dry ground. Mainly open groun some limited cover and concealment from several structures multi-level. Weather Conditions Clear and Sunny. 1. Situation: It looks like we have a rush job on our hands Task Force Scorpion. We are still in the process of setting up operations at Command Post Villa Altana and are not yet in a position to make a push for Calamar to the east. However, the Molatians have adopted a scorched-earth policy as they fall back. Their latest target is the oil storage complex just outside the city, which the Dingor government desperately needs intact. The enemy forces have already leveled the oil pumps in Verto and recon reports that the Molatians are in the process of planting charges at three oil silos which will destroy the remaining oil infrastructure in the region. We can't let that happen. Your primary objective is to move in to the oil storage complex from the west, deal with the demo squad and use your Demolitions Specialist to disable the charges. You'll commence your assault from the crossing at Pintosa. We've also had reports that some members of the refinery staff were taken hostage when the invaders thought they were going to be operating the refinery themselves and needed expertise on hand. We believe the survivors are being held at Rock Cafe situated nth-west of the storage complex. Find them and extract them safely to the river pass to Verto where a support crew will pick them up and escort them to CP Villa Altana. Your final objective is to assault a Molatian checkpoint on the hilltop at Ralon and destroy an Anti-Aircraft unit. It's presence will make it impossible to provide helo support to our ground forces when they move on Calamar. There are a number of patrols moving through the high ground so it could be difficult to make a clear strike at the shilka but I know you'll do your best. When you have are ready to end the mission make radio contact with Eagle One. Good luck men. 2. Primary Objective: Secure oil silos and disable explosive charges. You will require Demolitions Specialist. 3. Secondary Objectives: (i) Secure and extract factory workers safely. (ii) Destroy a Shilka to prepare air support for assault on Calamar. 4. Enemy Capabilities Molatian forces comprising 3-4 man patrols and defensive units protecting key assets; estimate 35-45 units. Arms/Supplies: AK47, AKM, AK74-GL, PK, RPG. Vehicles: 1xShilka; 2-3xTechnicals. 5. Friendly Forces TF Scorpion - 8 units - DCU gear Support: Nil Civilians: Possible civilians en route to Primary Objective and town of Ralon. Proceed with caution Arms required: 1xMAAWS; Demoltions Specialist. Medic only heal x 8 - (ACE2 wounding system not currently implemented) 6. Command & Signal Central Command callsign Eagle One. Task Force callsign Scorpion Ending Mission - Radio Eagle One when ready to end mission and earn points. Required Add-Ons: Lingor Island Dingor Island TF86 units not ACE2 currently (to be implemented in future with ACE Wounding System).

  16. Hi guys I am planning to open a website where I can kick off an Arma Series Coop League where missions (with point scoring for objectives completed) are hosted and played by all coop teams who have registered in the league. Every now and then will be hosted a broader tournament. I have Rocky from GR.Net helping me set up a website but it will need a domain name and I'm not sure what to call it. Any ideas? Might shape the final name. Cheers Lighty.

  18. Operation: Desert Siege Mission: DS_01 Burning Sands Date: 06 December 2012 Time: 0430 hours Location: Sth-West Dingor. Dry ground. Limited cover and concealment. Weather Conditions Clear; full moon; daybreak @ 0530. 1. Situation: Welcome to the Jewel of Africa, Task Force Scorpion, this is Dingor Island. Rich in oil, diamonds and tourism and positioned right on the edge of one of the world's busiest shipping lanes, she is the envy of many African neighbours. It's no surprise given the success the Molatians have had in Afrenia, that they have launched a successful invasion from the east into Dingor. This time the international community isn't going to stand back and watch and we are launching Operation Desert Siege as of 0800 hours this morning with the key objectives to starve the Molatians of supplies and reinforcements and to drive them off the island. In order to leave some kind of infrastructure intact, the Dingor government has requested that we try to preserve as much of the local architecture as possible. This means two things: firstly, we will not be launching air and missile strikes against enemy forces on the ground, and secondly, your unit is going to be getting your hands dirty a lot on this assignment. 2. Primary Objective: Establish a base of operations on the south-western shores of the island. You will initiate a landing by zodiac in the early hours of morning with your primary objective to secure a compound on the high ground at Villa Altana. Uploaded with ImageShack.us 3. Secondary Objectives: (i) Neutralise a Coast Guard situated west of your insertion zone to clear the way for reinforcements who will advance on the AO when your objectives are complete. (ii) Destroy a radio transmitter located east of your insertion in the town of Medlina. Uploaded with ImageShack.us (iii) Secure a second road block and destroy a BMP based in Alma located nth-west of Villa Altana. Uploaded with ImageShack.us 4. Enemy Capabilities Molatian forces comprising 3-4 man patrols and defensive units protecting key assets; estimate 35-45 units. Arms/Supplies: AK47, AKM, AK74-GL, PK, RPG. Vehicles: 1xBMP; 2-3xTechnicals. 5. Friendly Forces TF Scorpion - 8 units - DCU gear Support: Nil Civilians: None detected - proceed with caution Arms required: 2xDemolition Charges; 1xMAAWS Medic only heal x 8 - (ACE2 wounding system not currently implemented) 6. Command & Signal Central Command callsign Eagle One. Task Force callsign Scorpion Ending Mission - Radio Eagle One when ready to end mission and earn points. Required Add-Ons: Lingor Island Dingor Island TF86 units not ACE2 currently (to be implemented in future with ACE Wounding System).
