Here is what I have now for a system... cpu = E6600 Duo core @ 2.4G Ram = 4 gigs (I think it is PC800) Vid card = 8800GT 512 meg I think the vid card is the weak point (correct me if I'm wrong on any of this) and I would like to upgrade the graphics. Of course I'd like to get the most bang for the buck with a budget of $200-250 CDN. I have not kept up on what is new/better/must have etc. I do want it to have 1 gig of mem. ATI or Nvidia, I am totally lost? Any advice is greatly appreciated, here are some I am looking at... Sapphire HD4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E @ $195 Nvid 260 another 260 Thanking y'all in advance Grumpy

I arrived late to the server yesterday as I had some ISP issues, but want to be there at the start of the festivities what time does the fighting start There likely isn't a set time, but roughly the start time? . I finally got it installed and trying to tweak things... the problem of working from home is that it gets in the way of the fun stuff

Its fixed and working so lets My sincere to all who tried to help. It ended up being something weird and stupid, I got to looking at the files and there were too many 1KB files, check the size of the install = 4.35 Gig... well that ain't right Long story short uninstall, delete, clean registry etc, then use 7zip to unzip the archive and everything is The version on the opening screen says 1.02.58127 is this up to date or do I need to apply the patch, I am assuming the D2D download was up to date. So, what do I need to get, tweak etc to be ready for tonight? Grumpy.... hell, I'm almost smiling lol

Wow, you're right, googling NTVDM gives a million different reasons for it. I am running spyware/virus scans at the moment. I really hope I don't have to re-format as I really hate doing that
