After a couple of phone calls to ARGOS they agreed too replace £450 laptop with a £650 laptop with better specs http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/part...xt%3ELAPTOP.htm. Blu-Ray was never an issue as model i`d bought didnt have one but coudnt find laptop on web too show closesed was what i posted minus blu-ray. Funny thing is graphics was the issue now the ACER Aspire 6935 has a better graphic raiting in vista with only 512mg card than the Toshiba Satelite with a 1350meg card so gonna do a bench mark too see which is better when son is not around.

Bought a Laptop for son for xmas. the one i bought was http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/part...text%3EACER.htm But the one that was sent is Aspire 6935G-644G32Bn http://www.acer.co.uk/acer/productv.do?Lan...wrAjaxHistory=0 The problem is not sure if it is a better or worse replacement as the 1gig of ddr2 dedicated geforce 9600GT is replaced with a geforce 9600GS 512mb DDR3. Also the replacement doesnt have the blue-ray as per specs of replacement. Any help would be much appreciated as laptop is gonna be his gaming machine aswell as surfing net. Both are Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 dual core processor.

Chrs re-mapped and everything is working a ok.

Nice pics. Not sure if right thread but having issues with trying too access ammo crates. I can access them but cant get out of them. I have assigned ENTER key for use but pressing that when in crate does nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Have give it a wirl tonight graphically i dont think opf2 is as polished or realistic and the brownish hugh through out doesnt help. Vehicles are not as detailed and acurace of the stock weapon i tried on single player didnt seem very good. Also the AI leaves a bit too be desired. I`ll give it a few more tries but has more of a FPS feel too it than a sim.Also the command panel which has a similar feel too GRAW has 1 glaring fault in that when accesses i found i couldnt move so making giving a command a dangerouse thing in the heat of a fire fight. P.S. This is not a slag OPFP 2 post

Aye nice rig. But just a heads up B:P:R:Solar bought 2 9800X2 and ran them in quad running Vista and had a hell of a time with them. Heat being a big issue and also driver support. Hes now running XP and they a bit more stable.

Money has some part too play only got around the £300 mark so 2 of those would be outta my budget but as an ATI 4870 dual card is on its way then maybe the price might be within my range so will hold my breath as release date is around end of July.Also motherboard is an SLI board so 2 off would need a change of board.

Thanks for help though with the advent of the ATI 4870 X2 on the horizon i might just hold fire. See price and performance diff.

Aye but bench marks show the 9800X2 too be better performance wise in gaming including COD4

Hi Sparta peeps its {B:P:R}BSSBlade hear. I`m after some tech help with deciding on an upgrade of my vid card.
