MH6~SPARTA~ Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 Welp', I've downloaded the game and now I've run into my first issue: mainly that PunkBuster fails to install (because file already exists, stupidly enough) and this causes the entire BF3 install to fail. For anyone else having this issue, I had to go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3 Open Beta\__Installer\punkbuster\redist\ and run pbsvc.exe, select Uninstall, then reboot your machine (REQUIRED) and install BF3 again upon reboot. Apparently, even though *every* other game can install punkbuster even if it's already installed, BF3 can't, so you must uninstall it first.
