MedicSN6
I realized today while surfing the internet for parts for my new shotgun that I didn't have to put my date of birth in any boxes to verify my age to get into any firearm related websites. Of course, we have to do this for video game websites and alcohol websites but wouldn't you think those who argue in favor of age verification would want them on gun related sites as well? Just thinking about this and wondered why our country is so freaking stupid. No need to sound off as this is just an observation, not a rant, but if you do, please stay on topic and be respectful. Donziboy2
I think its because they don't have violent content or porn on there sites. Only guns, a gun is basically just a tool, its how people use it that makes it violent. And I think the verification thing came about because people where making up stupid lawsuits (people will sue over anything) and porn and game venders where getting raped. Durka-Durka~SPARTA~
lol yeah it's a typical reaction to those who complain about violence in video games: "Ok, so we'll make them put age verification on their sites. That should stop any kid in their tracks." Here's my plan: I'm going to tell my kid that I have entered her birthdate into a private area of the computer. If she goes to one of these sites and enters a fake birthdate, it will sound off and let me know, hehe. It probably won't work, but a dad can dream, right?
