"This is an old microsoft game that didnt really take off but microsoft ended up giving the code to some of the players who continued developing it. This game rocked when there were alot of people on, largest game i ever participated in was like around 250 vs 250, alot of fun.

 

You fight to control a map of systems in the game similar to sins of the solar empire. You build various types of bases to develop different types of combat technologies. Bombers (with manned turrets), steath bombers, transports (to capture bases) as well as capitol class ships to destroy or capture your enemies bases. Fighters, interceptors and stealth fighters for fun PvP action.

 

It's free so just download it here http://www.freeallegiance.org/. Looks like they created a tutorial program to so it should be easy to get up to speed. Could be some fun if we could get a 10 v 10 or more going. Would anybody be interested?"
