Krambo
As nVidia's previous physics creating pal Havok has been bought by Intel, nVidia have snapped up the other major physics company. AGEIA make the physx cards for "eye candy" I first remember the drivers being installed on GRAW1 even though I didnt have the card.
Athlon64~SPARTA~
I had a Physx card and sent it back due to a couple of reasions 1) It inhanced the explosions so much that if they were any mexican rebles near the explosion area it would cover them up and you couldent see them from all the crap flying in the air. 2) It also changed the graffics to more of a "cartoon looking" game in graw1. It took away the high quality look to the game. 3) the demo game that came in the software was fantastic, but in GRAW1 it sucked. 4) Dident really see any faster frame rates. I put my money to work one better things like a 8800 5) If you are running SLi, It set so close to one of the vid cards that it was trying to over heat. Punisher~SPARTA~
Nvidia has aquired Ageia and have already decided to scrap the physx card. There going to try and put the technology into the 8800 series of cards through some kind of driver update. So if you have a Physx card, its about to become a collectors item.
