New bags on the way.

I thought I would share some of the new kit I just ordered.

For background, I have been using two of the same bag for about two years now. One as a rang bag to hold all of my shooting gear and the other as a small bug out bag that has basic gear that I bring with me where ever I go. These bags had help up with tons of stuff and lots of weight. The one I use for the range holds more weight and I have yet to notice a seam ripping or a buckle starting to give out even with all of the ammo I carry in it. Neither bag's zippers have failed or jump track. It is a quality designed bag and for $20 it is well worth the price. I told a couple of the police officers that I know about this bag and now they use them for their duty bags.

This is the bag:

The new bags I have on order are from the same company and made by the same manufacturer.

First is the big brother to the one above. The Jumbo Bail Out Bag. It's bigger and tougher. I plan to use this as a replacement for my SHTF bag. More specifically all of the survival gear outside of clothing, softer material such as boots, poncho, and gas mask, etc.

The softer material that won't go in the above Jumbo Bail Out Bag will go into the LAPG 3 Day Backpack. The only downside to this bag is that is does not have a built in hydration compartment. I will need to get a MOLLE compatible carrier to attached to the front or the side. Some thing like this.

I ordered both bags in Black. I don't want them to stand out as Tactical backpacks and black is easier to hide if I need to hide them.

Also of note, if you do not have a multitool and need a good one, I can personally attest to the Gerber Compact Sport Multitool. I have had mine for almost 12 years and it has yet to fail me when I need it. LAPG has them on sale right now for about $30. It is worth the coin.
