SM_Fish Posted August 26, 2010 Share Posted August 26, 2010 Actually a semi-3rd person tank game using Soviet and German (and soon US) WWII era tanks. Basically a grind of experience / credits are used to upgrade your tanks with better kit - suspension, radio, motors, weapons etc in what is currently a 15 v 15 arena style play which can be approached as capture the flag or kill 'em all gameplay. I got sucked in a couple of weeks ago, I guess the compulsive part of my makeup decided I needed the bigger and better tanks to be competitive. Also has been a lot of fun. Now it's on a week hiatus as they patch the game - theroetically opening the US tank tree in the process. Don't know that it'll appeal to everyone, but I thought it was great. I'm really enjoying this, but you need to contact the devs for a beta key before you can access. The game itself is down until September 1st or so, when I think they're bring up their US servers. I was on the EU beta, and game was pretty good most of the time - pingws were about 200- 250 ms. Looking forward to the US servers having lower pings.
