Batwing~SPARTA~ Posted February 7, 2010 Share Posted February 7, 2010 (edited) Hi all, I ve been using so far WMC on Win 7 connected to my TV tuner straight with the Cable, so I am able to watch cahnnels 1 to 100, but I was wondering about HD stuff. My tv tuner is an Happauge 1600 http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hvr1600.html I was wondering what kind of antenna could i use to try to tune in the Digital HD channel. I do not have experience with that so I was wondering if you know about a decent antenna not too expensive but good for this job. Of course on the side also to know if Win 7 Media center is able to work with Clear QAM (HD channels) or not. peter~SPARTA~ Posted February 8, 2010 Share Posted February 8, 2010 (edited) If you connect any antenna you should be able to pick up all (or most ) HD channels in your area. Other tuners sells with small mini pole omnidirectional antenna witch is sufficient for over the air HD. If you have any old indoor antenna, it should work well.
