If you are using a nVidia you need to DL and use the Monitor tool. My card over heats and does weird shit unless i crank the fan up.

I purchase a new card but i will do the download so i can monitor it. thanks

do you overclock your card?

 

try booting safe mode into windows (f8) at bleep when booting, if it happens then, your Video ram may be bad.

I will give that a try in safe mode. As far as price I was hoping to spend around $300.00 . I heard the ATI HD2600XT is a pretty good low cost card. What has anyone else heard. I do not overclock now but have in the past but it was many months ago. No it doesnt seem hot.

For the last couple of days my display looks like shards of broken colored glass when ever I load a game or it will have hash marks all over the screen. :angry: I'm thinking my vid card took a dump. Has anyone seen something like this before. its an older card...an ati X800. Used to work ok. If it is the card any suggestions on a new one?

To sum up, CRYSIS at the time of writing is in beta 3 mode,

the learning curve is moderate to slightly tricky but the rewards

are big. I just got done with a 2 hour session playing alongside

adder360, it was a blast, we learned so much that we decided to

write a general how to thread and tricks and tips thread.

 

We hope you love it too and when it is released we will help everyone

that has problems with game play.

Thats Great Viiiper. Can You tell me how the hell you can climb up a ladder. Stood at the bottom of one for about 5 min. tried every key and still couldnt figure it out. :wacko: and just like to say this game is fffing awesome.

Man your right. I never thought about it being a hard drink when my buddy sent it to me. It must be because my drinks normally are in can or bottle form. I don't waste time with a glass. Slows down the rate of consumption. :blink:

I just got done playing the Beta with Majestic and I will have a lot of learning to do, and money to spend. It looks like I will need a new Mobo, memory, and proc to run this one. Got an error after finishing one map. Oh well, atleast the army gets to buy this one.

Anyone got the specs on what it will take to run this game at it glorious best. ;)
