    Changing Map Marker Colors

    Thanks for this durka ! :D I was wondering how to change colour ^^ (i was trying the side arrows)

     

    For the channels i believe its

     

    Global -> Every person IG sees it

     

    Side -> Your side

     

    Vehicle -> Everyone in your vehicle

     

    Group -> Everyone in your group

     

    Direct communication -> People close enough to you to see it.

     

    Can anyone tell me what the 2 commander channels are for ? :rolleyes:

     

    However, i think sometimes the people you want to see the waypoint, also have to be n the same channel, howevere i've not clarified this. And people who join after waypoints are set wont see them either.

    i couldnt agree more floyd that was really quite sad to do.

     

    Yes it was. I dont think i talked much that meeting, however there was a lot of 'slagging off', i must agree. I remember just a few months ago, Hurt gave a lecture about slagging off members behind their backs in a meeting. This behaviour was unacceptable.

     

    I think, we should get both sides of this incident; Dark, Floyd and Kiwi; with the admins who decided the temp ban and the members who have a problem; together in a teamspeak channel so we can solve this problem and find the problem. There is no way we can solve this on a forum or via PM's.

    I do understand floyds reaction, we have seen similiar with connor & andrewman, and it is PERFECTLY understandable.

     

    One thing i did forget to mention in my last post is that, i have been trying to contact Floyd through xfire, however for some reason it freezes upon loading (if you know a solution, please pm me). If Floyd is up for it, i would like to talk to him on TS.

     

    However, the same could be said in reverse. Could Floyd have not come straight to us and ask a reason, instead of posting a thread here declearing bullying, and starting what would inevitably become an arguement? I do understand that he would be upset, same goes for Kiwi.

     

    I hope this does not cause arift between our clans, and that we can get it sorted out asap, and without further incident.

    I generally use keyboard and mouse.

     

    I guide my chopper with the mouse, doing smooth fluid movements, so as not to lose control.

     

    I then use WASD, to make fine adjustments, such as while landing etc, or climbing a mountain.

     

    Once you get enough practise with this, you can fly a metre above trees up a hill, staying under radar cover, and land perfectly at the top, so your avoiding AA.

    No disrespect to you guys, and i hope you will respect my view that im about to post.

     

    Now, i do respect dark. I do think he can be an awsome kid to talk to and play with. However, while i've been in the same channel as the guys playing with dark these past 1-2 months, i have my self felt that his behaviour has been 'degrading' as such, with sometimes little remarks against other members that could seem hurtful, just because they were asking him to co-operate more.

     

    However, i do also understand that other members may say little remarks, meant as jokes etc, but could also be percieved as hurtful. I understand this from personal experience. However, i feel that a combination of the 2 scenarios (scuse my spelling), might have led to some bad feelings from Dark towards these members.

     

    From what i gathered from the conversations due to this, the guys HAVE been trying to include dark time after time again, however, due to the past events, dark does not seem to be co-operating with the others as much as he can. Which, with us trying to be a more tactical clan, can sometimes anger the members.

     

    Me and connor......did have a similar experience with dark, back around may time, howevere, due to other problems occuring at the time, we did not have much time to speak to him about it. We did drop the matter however after his behaviour improved a few weeks later.

     

    As the others have said as well though guys, we have recently had a meeting where we decided the J's would become full members, and such would have to accept resbonsibility for their actions, regardless of age etc. We try to solve matters as easily and effectivly, using methods such as trying to talk to members, co-operating with them, trying to understand the situation etc. We only use Temp bans as a last resort, once all other methods have been tried, and Perm bans are never even considered against other players apart from in certain cases, such as hacks etc.

     

    We will also never consider deleting posts apart from in cases such as, like ali said, porn, spam etc. I, now, personally feel hurt by some of the comments you guys have said about our clan, such as bullies etc, especially seeing as we have been trying to solve this issue with dark for about a month now. Do you guys really think that by trying to talk to dark, trying to co-operate with him etc to find out what the problem is, and then temp banning him once all else has failed and his behaviour has not improved, is bullying ?

     

    I hope you respect this post and dont treat it like you have the others.

    These are REALLY good :o

     

    I hope they do more......but #2 seemed to be the ending already :( Ah well.....he did say it took him 11 months after #1 to make #2 ......wouldnt be surprised if he's bored now lol :P

    the GTCs sell for about 400 million isk in-game.

     

    ummm....i wonder where i put my marbles then ? <_< :lol:

     

    Ah well.....i have noticed one thing i might be able to go through with seeing as my dad wont subscribe for me etc....and that is to buy that eve retail box atari have just come out with, that includes 60 day free game play timecard B) I mean....game.co.uk sell it for £25....and thats cheaper/just about the same as subscribing for two months write ? :rolleyes: Also it's easier and i ger £20 pocket money a month....sometimes more and sometimes a bit less....depending on B'days etc :lol:

     

    That 60 days would go on until i have a month left until my b'day as well....I might be seeing you guys in game soon :P

    I reinstalled it back in the summer, and played it for a bit, and also tried some of the mods (such as the crossfire mod....which is pretty good btw B) )

     

    Got bored eventually 'cause i culdnt figure out how to play multi :lol: So if any of you lovely guys could show me....i might get to kick you arse as a reward :rolleyes: :D

     

    I've had the game for yeeeeeears though. Used to love playing it when i was a kid (also when we had dial up :P ) and i found the story line still rivals some of those today.

    I keep forgetting to save the replays after every battle so i can get screenys lol <_< Im just loving it so much so far :lol:

     

    And yeah, by pressing insert you can see first person from that selected person, and with ships you can see in the gun deck :)

    So how long would you guys say it should take for someone just starting to be able to buy the GTC in game ? Im guessing it would take over 14 days, but i saw that they've just got the retail version in game....with the 60 day card. So if it can, with a bit of hard work, take 60 days, i might have a go at that.

     

    You guys think this is a sane idea :P Or should i give up my dreams and go back to playing marbles.....and mayby a bit of that empire: Total war :lol:

    I am loving this game so far ! :D The AI is a LOT

     

    let me repeat that

    smarter than they were before. Im finding myself constantly getting flanked by cavalry if im not watching out, havng to redeploy my forces everywhere and also having some very close battles. And this is just on normal difficulty ! I'd hate to see what very hard is like :P

     

    The sea battles are graphically stunning as well as having suberb gameplay in them, and ship explosions are just amazing B)

     

    On the campaign map, you get less regions, however you get seperate farms to upgrade for more food, which in turns causes more towns to grow. These towns can be upgraded for a specific role, be it bars etc for happines, schools etc for research (there is a technology tree, so where your opponents might be researching new upgrades to farms, you might be researching a new firing drill), workshops for wealth, or religious schools for a mix between happiness and religion. You also get ports which grow, ad can be chose to either be a fishing port, a trade port or a naval dockyard.

     

    For the multiplayer campign, as said it will be coming out later on. You will be able to play with a friend on the campign map, taking simultaneous turns etc. They will first release a beta in a patch within the first few months, and then when satisfied they'll release the full option in a later patch.

     

    Im liking it so much.....i keep forgetting to get screenshots :lol: Im always to focused on the battles :P

    ohhh that sounds good :) I did try the 14 day trial once (of course with totally different name etc then i would use incase i came back...seems like a good idea now :rolleyes: ) but of course, cause of the pay to play i had to give it up <_<

     

    But IF it's possible to make that amount of money in 14/21 days, then i might get back in to it :P i might have to wait until a holiday though....like the easter ones....so i can play enough to make it :lol:
