Zathrus,
I am very curios about this game, although I do not have Crysis (only Warhwead version and i heard is not gonna work on it).
Would you be able to write a lil more about the "feeling" ? how commands react, if you were able to use a joystick, how the feeling in cockpit is and other stuff part of your experience.
Thank you very much in advance

My best ones:
AVATAR
STAR TREK
DISTRICT 9
My worst:
The Hangover
All About Steve
Terminator Salvation ( a apart from special effects, the story was also screwed... He was surprised to see a "human" cyborg??? come on, he had 2 movies when he was a teenager to learn about human look-alike cyborgs !!!)

Alright guys,
Any real comment about this MOD ? so far you are commenting about Crysis... but that doesn t help too much
Are you playing the MOD ? is cool like it looks like? how is it in Multy??
Com' on , unveil the secret

Very well done
Also, to simplify further more, you can consider this:
Many standard Routers like Linksys, D-Link etc. already come with a restricted of DHCP address range.
You can check that on the main page of your Router settings looking at the DHCP info and most probably you will see something similar to "DHCP Range" field.
Usually these routers give 50 addresses to the DHCP and they are"usually" between 100 and 150, you will see that info on the router "overview" page.
Once you understand what is the range your router is already using, you just want to assign an IP address to your machine outside that range, following the Viper instructions.
This way you do not mess up with your router settings (which still requires a somewhat advanced understanding) but you just set your local machine address.
Enjoy

Yeah !! good for you, congrats i7 at 3.8 is a very good result and works totally steady and fine
Enjoy your new toy

I mean, a "stretching" issue is only related to the correct resolution.
Set the right resolution (1600*900) on the windows desktop and ALSO on each and every one game you play and you are set to go.
On the other side, if you are unable to set that resolution, it depends on your videocard. You never stated what card you have, but being playing quite demanding games, I do assume you have a decent videocard and any decent videocard allows a resolution of 1600*900.
99% there is nothing wrong with your monitor. If after setting correct resolution you still have stretching issues, "could" be the monitor, but is quite a seldom situation.
-
Uh? I didn t realize my post was a "spoiler content" ?
I was just suggesting the best way IMO to enjoy this show, then if you don t have an IMAX theater close to you, well that is something we cannot solve, but if you have, I do suggest you to chose that experience
However this is a movie you are going to enjoy in any form !
-
ok, Im not sure if you solved your problem already,
however your monitor is a plug n play device, so it does not require any driver.
Problem you have is probably due to the fact you installed your new monitor on your computer just switching from the old monitor (different resolution) to the new one and Win 7 did not recognized the monitor on the spot.
To solve the stretching issue you have to be sure to set the resolution in win 7 accordingly with the max resolution of your new monitor, so called "native resolution". I do believe your resolution has to be set on 1600*900.
To do this on Win 7, right click in an empty space of your desktop, then click on the menu where it says "screen resolution" and from the appropriate scrolling selection be sure to choose 1600*900.
You also have to be sure to select this resolution for all of your games, modifying your settings within each one game.
If in a game you do not have this res, just choose the closest one.
That's it, you will be able to enjoy your neew toy with no stretching ;)
Have fun

.. and I can just say WOW !! WHAT AMAZING SHOW !! 2.40 hrs of total shocking adrenaline experience !
This is gonna be the movie of the yaer in this category and is setting the highest possible standards for 3D and CGI animation.
It's a mile stone, impeccable, other movies will be nice to watch in 3D, but this one will be the one to beat...
This is a show you don't wanna miss, and you want to watch the IMAX experience

I was already excited when I saw the new "Mechwarrior" game in production.. but who knows if that will ever hit the shelves.. so at least this one could revive the old Mechwarrior in me !

hi guys,
I was thinking about the javelin implementation in Arma 2 and it seemed to me quite 'simplified".
Then i found a post on BIS with these info
Watch this video to see what a proper Javelin in ArmA2 would look like. Imagine the IR post processing layer in there as well and you get an idea.
This video is the best reference on YouTube to what the gunner sees when firing the real thing.
and then i found somewhere else is a MOD to make Javilin a bit more realistic.
Are you planning to use those implementation or you like to keep the javelin the way it is ?

Nice MB, nice design.
About this:
EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8)
That means sofar you are using 2 cards it will use the full PCI express 2.0 which allows full datas on 16 lanes. If you will decide to add a third card, the third one will use only an 8 lanes data transfer. Honestly I do not think is a big of an issue when u have 3 powerful cards linked together, but however it's just to let you know that limit.
About overclocking, you may enjoy overclocking right away, just be careful about temperatures. Succesful overclocking is a mix between CPU capabilities, MB capabilities and very good airflow in your case. Also you may consider a third-party CPU fan/heatsink if you want to push your results.
If you are planning to overclockan I7, rememebr that processor is pretty hot on basis, so you may need a better fan/heatsink other than the stock one.
Have fun and overclock "responsibly"

Hmm take a look at this.. look at the price only at the last moment !

hi,
i didn t play around with SSD yet but for what i know they are Sata devices and about the power it should be the standard Sata flat power. If you didn t buy an OEM drive, most probably an adapter 4 prong to Sata comes in the box
-
yep, they took the link down, i just wonder if it was just a mistake...
However, if they ship, that was Santa Claus from Dell

I ll be able to be online in about 30 minutes, 5.15 EST, I hope thhere is still someone around

As a generic suggestion from a technician, really not mess up with a PSU not working.. You are going to win a huge headache, a lot of wasted time and possibly no results at all.
A specific paragraph on the A+ hardware qualification book states that if you have a fan issue wiith a PSU, you have to replace the PSU.
So forget about the "Da Vinci" solutions and embark yourself into a new PSU choice. It will range between 40 and 90 bucks and you will be happy,
-
well,
I know many of you will laugh aloud, but u know what.. I got this one.. hehehahhhe I was thinking "oh well, if it doesn t work.. who cares.." and instead, is working great, clear and crisp sound, Stereo, but if u have a decent audio drivers you can set from your drivers the "surround" capabilities...
It is what it is, but hey, u can t beat this price !!! hehehahhe
http://www.8starshop.com/en/computer-pc-la...microphone.html
So, get that, and use the other 100 bucks to another cool gadget
-
Hi,
did u ever figured out what happened with your PSU ? got the new one ? is it working now ?
-
hehehahhe Stang, I saw your "first choice" pic.. and that was amazing 'cheecks" lol.. however, this one... I love it too !
In meanwhile I ll find some "similar".. whhat about my dog ?
-
Ok, trying to familiarize with the most important aspects, especially about multy player.
Where are the locations you have to go to refuel and rearm and repair your land vehicle?
Same question for the air vehicles.. iis rearming and refueling on the landing strip (unreal but faster) or do you have to taxi to a different location?
Is there at the base a "service and repair" hangar ?
I saw on the battlefield some fuel pumps, so I can assume u can refuel there
What about repairs and rearm on the battlefield ?
These may sound silly questions and I m sure if i dig I can find answers, but honestly i m pretty sure your answer can be faster and straiight to the point.
Thx
