    This is called the KURATAS. The pretty girl on the Demo doesn t come with it, but i am pretty sure something can be arranged.

     

    At a Woopie 1.3 Million dollars to buy this baby, I am pretty sure you can get some extra "treatment"

     

    Do we get together at the Dealership in your area to give it a test drive?

    DCS World is a FREE download. It comes with a FREE Su25-T attack aircraft with missions and a campaign. I am not a big fan of that, but I could give a serious shot, being free and this is a good taste of what this World can do.

    Well, is true we are geeks, but actually i don t know any gamer who enjoy playing latest games on a decent machine "not" having a 64bit OS.

     

    Mostly not because there is any application or game really requiring the 64bit OS, but simply becuase you don t see more than 3.5GB RAM on 32 bit.

     

    I am pleased they are starting writing an engine requiring 64bit because possibly the best of processor power, which is not only # of cores, will be used for something.

    Do you think that Ural was a truck-bomb? Misteries of Arma.. why the AO was not activated, at least when the sniper got you...

    Demo's

    Correct.. now the "demo" version is on Demonoid, to name one.

     

    However, as you say AJ, in the past we had more demo and somewhat a better quality on retail games. Now you have less demos and more retail games working as barely BETAs (full priced).

     

    I actually can t deny that having a DEMO copy from a torrent source helps to evaluate if that game really deserves the tag price and most importantly may avoid you to get rip off.

    Besides rare occasions, there is No Refund on gaming software, so when you get something that doesn t work right, well sorry for your bad luck.

    I have your same config.. X58 chip supporting SATA II, however i got a Samsung SSD 128GB SATA III and i am loving it.

     

    SAT 2 speed is slower and is already WAY faster that what is it was with HDD. I am loving my SSD. Taking advantage of low prices I might get another one for 256GB... Speed is always good :)

     

    My bottleneck is my MB.. but considering one day I will just upgrade to a newer config, then it will be new MB, CPU and RAM...

    Actually I think I would not be able to live without a fast internet...

     

    Incredible how technology spoil us, however is not for gaming only. I do everything thru internet, billing, media, chatting with my family on the other side the world... a place with no viable internet is not my place :)

     

    Lighty.. don t u even have coverage with cell phone internet? If your only solution is Satellite... ugh.. I had that for a small period, better ping was 1800...

    Soooo... if you are playing this title.. what are the comments and reviews??

     

    Besides the 4 or 6 Coop thing, how the campaign feels? how the game feels?

     

    Try to rely to a real GR title if possible, otherwise just give us some understanding about this title.

    MW Online - Open Beta

    Just to clarify a bit what kind of game is this...

     

    For what I heard in game fights will be absolute Death, meaning is a TDM usually 8 vs 8, one life ONLY. You die, you screwed yourself and your team.

     

    Also many implementation to RPG are in, so Damage and repair are introduced.

     

     

    This is a very important aspect that differentiate this game from any other shooter out there.

    Hail MechWarriors...

     

    The day has come, the Open Beta is out there!

     

    I saw many of you inciting others to support unknown or unsure projects on Kickstarter... I would invite you here to support this project at least with the basic Beta Pack for $30 bucks.

     

    I was the first one not agree to pre-pay to play a BETA but then i had to revisit my point of view. I am still against Kickstarter but I have to say if i have to put some trust somewhere, I would fund this project which is at least REAL, and is very promising.

     

    The only thing I can say is that Devs are doing an excellent job, the game feels good and they are slowly adding features making this game really a positive experience.

     

    My point is:

    If you are a Mechwarrior fan and you have been supporting any kickstarter project, you cannot turn your back to this funding. 30 bucks may seem a lot but i can tell you this game is a lot of fun and if we can start having a Sparta team, although small, putting 30 bucks for this is a real small investment... and at least you see the result here and now, not like Kickstart crap...

     

    Let me know if you are going to sign up for it. Then we have to Team up !

    MechWarrior Online - some update

    Ok,

     

    Recent events changed my mind regarding their paid BETA thing.

     

    Open BETA will be starting June 19 and if "necessary" I will buy the $30 package. Now I do believe this game deserve some trust.

    I also thought about many other discussions were I have been arguing legitimate project being funded on Kickstarter. To be fair i have to say that if i have to fund something, at least in this way I am funding something that gotr some hard work on and is there, close to release date.

     

    I will be back in MechWarrior proudly and I hope Sparta can pull out a team or possibly 2 (timezone issue and ping problems).
