  1. Are we having one?

    EDIT BY DURKA:

Tonight's Tactical Domination will be starting shortly. I need these roles (and ONLY these roles) to be filled out and volunteered for.

    1. Command: (I'll take this for first town, but need someone to take it for second town)

    2. 2 IC

    3. Alpha Squad Leader

    4. Alpha Team Leader (A's 2ic, basically, we want non-members in this role)

    5. Bravo Squad Leader

    6. Bravo Team Leader (Same as above)

    7. Charlie Squad Leader

    8. Charlie Team Leader (same as above)

    7. Delta Squad Leader (spec ops 4-man team)

Initially, and depending how many we have at startup, I'll just need Alpha and Delta. Bravo/Charlie will be filled as needed. Please reply with only your name and desired role. No extra text is needed.

  2. I really enjoyed this.

Starting with no weapons, map, or GPS was unusual to say the least.

    Poor Yuri tho.

And his wife. She never had a chance hiding like that...

Thanks for the fun Ebden. I really enjoyed that style of play. The cars are pretty fun too.

  3. didn't understand cus, yeah, i replaced it and put the new 12v fan on the same slot as the old one, and it doesn't work. Do you think it is ok if i just connect it to a normal mobo slot?
It will be ok to conntect it to your MB. The PSU typically has a three wire lead. Black, Yellow, and Blue. The blue line is temp or PWM control which lets the fan spin up and down according to heat load.

So if you just use yellow and black it will run at 100% 12vdc.

  4. lol, now I know what PC can run the vantage test in a nice way :)

Congrats on your rig Rooster :) impressive :)

Thanks Batwing. More extreme cooling is a hobby of mine. Also, right now I am working on a single stage phase change unit so I can do more sustained, faster runs. This water setup is great for 24/7, but my future single stage will allow much higher, stable overclocks. I'm working on the 5GHz club at the moment.

  5. Tholozor is right. We had a lot of fun stomping the AO once daylight hit. I pretty much left the choppers alone to let others get in some flight time, then I had great fun focusing on being anti air. We even had a team doing their operations from a roof top. Lots of fun as always guys! :clapping:

  6. I would be against re-spawning HMMVVs largely because it takes away from realism.

Many chopper pilots such as myself are constantly looking for abandoned vehicles and such to RTB. Basically anytime I hop in a chopper, I'm working for someone. Even if that means waiting for 30 or more minutes before anyone needs something. B)

  7. Here's my setup, which is my fifth water cooled build.

    intel core i7 860 @ 4.2GHz

    ati 5870 950/1200

    intel x25m raid 0

    4GB corsair dominators

    asus maximus III gene

    tri-display (triplehead 2 go)

  8. I heard ya'll had a good time, When I checked on the server last night not a soul was in Reg dom and all were in Tac

BUT they were leaderless and no one was guiding or even talking much.

I caught the tail end of the TAC play. Once the command took off they allowed the rest of us to stay on. The only difference I noticed was like Halli said, we didn't really have a leader.

That said, everyone worked together really well. We were not as organized as when we have a Spartan leader, but it was still pretty enjoyable.

  9. Hi all, did I speak out of place on here and maybe get moderated? If so I apologize. There were a couple of posts that I commented on yesterday that seem to be gone. Either that or I'm probably just making a FNG mistake. :o

  10. Hi guys, I'd like to participate if possible. Do I have to be a sparta member to join you all?

If not, if you could tell me when and where -- I'll be there!

    Thanks in advance!

  11. Hi guys! Thanks for providing a top notch, quality gaming community!

Just wanted to stop in and say thank you! I enjoy gaming on domination for many hours at a time...

    A little about myself...

I'm a 30 year old USAF combat veteran. I signed for 4, spent 6 1/2 years in because of 911. Deployed to the desert region for extensive time, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Iraq. Shortly before stop loss was lifted I did a tour in Afghanistan and Pakistan on reconnaissance as well. During my downtime I used to play the original Operation Flashpoint single player, literally until my old laptop computer wore out. I think that thing was a pentium II and back then it was pretty awesome to be able to game on the move... Like many of you, I became instantly drawn to the realism that this series of game provides. I guess that is why people appropriately refer to these games as "milsims".

Besides Arma2, for 5 years I had been involved with counter strike and cs source, playing in organized play. Our team played in CAL IM and was a pretty tight knit group. The group I played with [VOA] (Veterans Of America) is still around, but they are strictly a cs clan. You guessed it, real life Veterans in VOA.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to all of you and let you know a little about myself. Hope to become a more active member of the community.

    Thanks all and regards,

    "Rooster"
