    What's the BEST COOP GAME around?

    Hi,

    Starting this topic to look for potential (coop-)games to buy in the future.

     

    Personally my preferences go to:

     

    - IL2 (1946, or any other version)

    - Rainbow Six: VEGAS

     

     

    Too bad for Crysis, COD4 and Frontlines: Fuel of War (not yet released): they don't have coop!!!

     

    I'm still up for R6 and IL2 coop guys!!

     

    What do you think is the BEST COOP GAME ever?

    happy to see some interest again, although must admit I haven't been on lately.

    I'm always up for a game (I prefer COOP, but -as you all know- it isn't that obvious. So dogfights is all good).

     

    Thanks to Mutilat3r I can host now too, just have to look for some interesting campaigns/missions.

    I live in Belgium so there are some time differences, but if some1 would like to set a date/time, I'll be on, cause this game is 100% fun (beginners/advanced ... as long as there is TS and teamplay, it's great).

    Gosh I miss the Sundays (back when I was in Brazil) where there would be a coop with 5-8 guys each week.

    thanks for the replies ... It's just that my Godson would like one, and I'd give it to him if it weren't that expensive. Not that I'm cheap or anything, but still recovering from my move to Belgium.

     

    Hate to nag about it, but before I get paid, all money is already out of the door .... that's why.

    Ok,

    HAve to buy for my godchild (is it?) a PSP, but these things are bloody expensive.

     

    Does any1 have one? Have been looking around (ebay and all) and it would be handy to have the software version sothat you can copy the games on yr memory card.

    Ah ATI, Ok Well when I played the Beta I had to run ATI tray Tools and Click Geometry Instancing in Tweaks, standard tweaks.

    I had alot of trouble with my system trying to run the game but Have a P4 3.0 and it was to much for the damn thing.

     

    Alright, I got it working. Messed around for over an hour, changing stuff and it seems to work (sofar).

    When playing, my machine turns into a WWII 4 prop-bomber ... but alright ... I'm playing.

    Not sure if this is part of your problem, but found this relating to another game. It's just a snip it from the full article.

     

    DX10 Known Issue

     

    There is a known issue where on ATI Radeon 2900 and other ATI DX10 cards, turning on anti-aliasing will cause the 3D world view to render improperly. ATI is investigating the problem and will address it in an upcoming driver update. For now affected users should disable anti-aliasing on these cards.

     

    Now do ATI share the same drivers (Catalyst) through out there range of cards.

     

    Thanks guys, but my card isn't even dx10 compatible (I think). As for AA, it's turned off (both ingame and in the catalyst control centre).

     

    maybe new ati drivers will do the trick (i'll have to wait until they come out)

    Ok, I haven't been online lately 'cause I had to travel for work a couple of times, but is anyone still playing IL2?

     

    There was some enthusiasm before, but more than 4 times I didn't play anymore with you guys.

     

    Coop was lots of fun, you guys remember the time that 1 of us was flying the bomber, while six others of us were in the gunner seats??

     

    Come on, let's kick up this game again.

    Damnit, eventhough I did the test (above minimum), I still can't play this f*cking game.

    Screen shows better luck this time when I hosted a game, but posted in the demo-thread (http://www.legionofspartans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=467) another screenshot where it's worse (in SP).

    Have downloaded the latest ATI drivers and the patch : http://support.ati.com/ics/support/d...asp?deptID=894

    without any luck.

     

    Any1 any suggestions (without saying to buy new hardware, because I don't have the money!)?
