    you know what to do? right

     

    1.You can not post twice in succession, some one diffrent has to follow you.

    Crysis NEWS ---- DX10 for DX9 players

    I tried this and I am amazed. I am even more amazed that it still runs at an almost playable fps

     

    This is what I did. You can try this at your own risk as I am taking no responsibility if you screw up your system.

     

    I went to my CVarGroups folder and in there were a bunch of cfg files.

     

    I first made a copy of the entire CVarGroups on my desktop in case I screwed up. I then opened each cfg and made the same edits. You copy the default (4) option which is the first block of text and paste/replace the last block of text with it.

     

     

    DO ALL THE CFG FILES ---ALL----

     

     

     

     

     

    for example the "sys_spec_Particles.cfg"

    = 4

    Do this same thing with all the cfg files in the CVarGroups folder. Just remember to BACK UP the old files first!!!!

     

     

    After I did this I logged back in and all I can say is wow. Thw water is very different and the the tire tracks on the beach are realistic. The depth of view and light beams look very cool as well. Very nice find OP!

     

    I'm going to play the demo all over with this setting now.

    Basically

     

    Using an .inf file

     

    Simply create a new textfile in the root of your drive, typing this text:

     

    [AUTORUN]

    Icon="(path)\(name)"

     

    then rename the file to autorun.inf.

     

    You might put the icon in the root of the drive too, and give both the icon and inf-file the attribute 'hidden'; less easy to mess up stuff ;).

    Hey all. I just got a new 500gb harddrive and, being the visual based person that I am, it's hard to find the frickin thing when I'm downloading my photos to it. I'm looking and I see the basic icon for drive C, and I have a little graphic for my other external drive, but my new internal harddrive is just a basic drive icon for everything else. Anyone out there know how to change it up and put something a little more colorful in its place? (I'm not saing "colorful" as in a fluffy pink pillow icon, just something to direct my attention for that split second to it.)

    Call of duty 4 - PC / SPARTA SERVERS

    Along with GRAW2/ IL2 / GTR2, SPARTA will host

     

    multiple 'Call Of Duty 4' Servers as from 9th November 2007. These servers are to run on our Xeon servers and will be admined. The aim of the servers is to add a fun element to the tactical warfare of gaming.

     

    Several elements will be implemented so that our servers are for serious players and not the run and gun kids that love bunny hoping. With that said our meeting on Sunday 4th November with discuss the facts of banning all player involved in scripted bunny hoping inc those via pre scripted keyboards.

     

    Following COD4 on the 11th November we aim for full DX9 & DX10 CRYSIS servers, after benching loads on servers, we aim for a minimum of two servers and if popular, the end of GRAW Series at SPARTA. Although Graw 2 will remain as a turn on if required game.

     

    We are looking for top class game moderators via teamspeak and any member of SPARTA that feels up to it should ask about the plans.
