  1. I too sit in traffic, kids, etc. so I am trying to get back into this game. Used to love playing with you guys on this in the past. This sounds like a great idea...count me in..

    The domination server needs to be restarted or something. Carter and I are in the game and there is no AO or side mission or any bad guys. I thought it was because Carter and I instilled fear in the AI and we achieved world peace. :banana_dance:

  3. After playing it a bit, it seems that you need to plan by using those Humvee and land-cruisers as a group. You have to make sure to bring an ammo truck to make sure you can reload them. Remember like original arma II smoke and arty smoke to mask movements into the AO. It definitely challenges your skills both at shooting and moving but most importantly working together. I think once it is approved for tac-dom night the commander will be challenged with coming up with an effective plan, and the medics will be kept very busy. Thanks Zeno, it is an awesome setup....

  4. Playing as OPFOR was probably the most fun I've had with this game. Yes there were bugs a plenty, but it was just ridiculously fun and I'm pretty sure we were laughing the entire time.

     

    We could almost feel the frustration as someone dropped an ammo box right on us and I suddenly had an M107. Not to mention about 5 seconds later we received reinforcements. Great map and mission idea, can't wait to see it in the final release!

     

     

    I agree, it was really awsome. I felt like i was running around not doing alot, but I learned a whole bunch and it was really great playing with everyone. You guys are truly code junkies, and it makes the game really awsome so keep up the good work. By the way I put in a good word to Santa for you so you should be getting something good this year....i have some connects....

  6. I think the concept of this is sound. I think making sure you utilize aircraft (speaking of fixed wing attack) in a combined arms aspect makes them very useful and controllable. Pilots must be patient, and to a lot of waiting around. My experience has been that fixed wing assets should be tooling around at 2k-3k in the air to avoid flak and be prepared to deliver precision munitions on request.

     

    I actually was using my own set of course rules on landing fixed wing aircraft which has lead to no crashed of fixed wings during landings. It is simple and without the use of the computer.

     

    I agree with XENOs opinion and others that the fixed wing aircraft can ruin the fun of attacking a town, but I think when requested and coordinated they provide a unique and realistic aspect to the game.

     

    I would be interested in whatever testing or input on the matter. You guys run great servers with good rules which makes it a pleasure to play on....keep up the good work....
