I always thought you were supposed to cross your arms to your chest when you started rolling. seems like grabbing the stem of the steering wheel could easily produce a missing digit. Not sure if these wheels are different, but my Grant GT stem is a straight cut bit of steel and is quite sharp feeling.

  2. Medic, which part of VA are ya from? I know that it was quite cold yesterday. Girlfriend and I took a trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg yesterday. I was waiting for it to start with the flurries on the way up there. Was kinda pissed when i saw the freezing rain just outside of Newport news. On a side note, if you haven't been to BG for their Halloween events, GO. Great time.

  3. Watchman, i have found (or so it seems i found) that to leave an AAR or any of the other "you need a radio" options you can't have another ruck "on back". I tend to not carry the PRC119 on me, but leave it in the HMMWV. I tried to put my VTAC into the "on back" position and pick up the PRC119 to make an AAR i had the pop up "You need a Radio". After removing the VTAC from my gear and having just the PRC it allowed me to put in the AAR.

    Just food for thought.

  4. I also can't recruit AI even though i am also a TL.

Another issue, I got shot and passed out, was able to get back on my feet and heal myself completely, but couldn't reload my rifle, change weapons, interact (through scroll menu), check my gear, etc. Disconnecting/reconnecting didn't seem to fix the issue. Only respawning through the escape menu fixed it.

  5. I don't know about anyone else but i have always wanted to participate in a full on WWII style para jump. Where i can look around on the way down and see everyone else (human and AI) floating down, tracers zipping by, flak going off all around and possibly a bird or two falling out of the sky. But that is just me and probably not a good fit for this mission.

As for a mission name (thanks to a quick google of "mission name generator") Operation Burning Chair.

  6. Does anyone know any coop games that are actually scary?

I used to play Killing Floor. Don't know if it is the proper "scary" for you but it can be intense. Not too much of the cliche "Jump out of the darkness" movie style stuff. On the higher difficulties you get a lot of the feelings of being completely overrun. Should be pretty cheap by now on steam.

  7. Good for infiltration of small groups on some maps. Im thinking snipers and the like.. I wouldnt want to get stuck over the enemy in one though, even though you can drop granades....

iirc those things are amazingly loud in game.

  8. iron...we marines aren't COMPLETELY FoS.

they took quickclot from us because 1) it was being used improperly (e.g., you're supposed to thoroughly staunch the would before applying quickclot...wasn't happening) and 2) its downright messy in the wound. it doesn't need surgery (that i know of) but it requires a very extensive cleaning after the wound is reopened before it can be properly closed.

    Jeff

Yes, whomever it was that told me was wrong (for the most part). And i know not all Marines are full of it, most of the ones i have come to know are. Just going off personal experience on this one.
