A GTX 560 for a few weeks play? NoScream~SPARTA~ Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 It's really easy to make money in eve, the only difference is the rate you make it at and the RISK you take. Alot of players don't put enough time into getting money and see no returns. For example: I could take an average players 250M ISK & in 30 days make it into 1,000M (making 750M) or I could take it and make 50M (making it into 300M). The difference is risk, I do alot of trading & PvP, in trading it's a 7 day turn around min & normally 30days. In PvP it's like fishing, you wait and wait and wait, the more people you do it with the faster it happens. Pvp normally has a higher risk than Trade but the gains in PvP can make trade look like pocket money. There again Trade is long term, normally 30-90 days. If I gave you 500M ISK what would you do with it? spend it? Invest it? I take 500M & buy products which I can sell at these margins: min 30% above cost norm 100% above cost (double my money) high 100-500% above (missed opportunities by others). I placed a challenge a few years ago (2 years ago) with another player that I could double his ISK, wee setup a corp & both were directors, both invested 1B ISK each. Total corp assets were 2Billion. In 7 days I had spent around 800M & sold 850M Initial investment 2,000M ISK 700M ISK layout for goods 14M ISK tax 1,286M ISK cash Total assest after 7 days were: 1,286M ISK remainder of initial investment (cash) 750M ISK from sales (cash) 800M ISK of goods held by corp (bought from original investment) remaining STOCK. (value of goods) Total assets after 7 days were 2,836M ISK I had been over optimistic, He did nothing but learned, I did 90% of all work, he did some hauling. But for 7 days we made 836M ISK (418M each) not bad..... we split the monies, 1,000M ISK each back + 375M cash each after liquidating the assets (selling at less than we could of got).
