Very crisp and fancy. I recall the gameplay being fairly smooth as well, and the cutscenes were good. I don't like how they have set up space combat, where you fly a path that is predestined and just fire on things that fly by.

The space game is kind of like a mini-game or side mission.

The fly-by-rail system reminiscent of the early X-Wing games is by far the largest criticized issue of the game. I don't like it at all, but it isn't a game killer for me and maybe they will revise their space flight system eventually. I hope they will anyway.

I didn't think X-Wing was fly-by-rail. It seemed to be pretty open from what I can remember. Where you had objectives, but could roam space at will if you wanted to. The bad guys had pretty predictable flight patterns when in combat, though.
