Eve is splitting into two, The space bit & the land bit, both bits are directly linked to each other.

 

Incarna is STAGE 1 where the space bit will get you in first person in station, with a captains cabin, promenade levels b/1/2/3, were there will be player owned shops & bars, gambling joints & dens.

The land bit will come as Dust 514 (Eve Forever) and will run on the Unreal 3.0 engine, it will interlink to eve Online (the space bit) via CCP server cluster in Dock lands London, both the space & land games will run Real-time GMT.

 

Meaning things happen in reality, 12 hours is 12 hours, a 3 week war will be a 3 week war, in space on the planet surface.

 

players leaving the battlefield can be replaced by fresh players on that team beaming to the planet surface. All players log off on the surface, the enemy (other team) will win the sovereignty of that sector of planet surface.

 

Simples....

 

 

The Planet bit 'DUST 514' is running the Unreal 3.0 engine & a CCP carbon API link module which will feed back to the main server cluster in London. This is the second video in the OP.
