Ok played for awhile and some feedback to make you sad/ happy

All features are online & interact with GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE & LIVE online, so you need to be aware of that !!!

The menu to chance graphics settings is buried in the first set of menus so if your at the track and want to drop resolution, it's leave race and back to the main menu layer... bummer but it's there, annoying because the AUDIO menu is at the race track menu layer.

The game is good, tried a release version and was impressed by:

GRAPHICS: top notch, will impress all but there is a problem..... running FRAPS you will see that if the resolution you choose dips below the 60 frames SYNC. value you will experience a less than smooth drive.... 40+ frames is required to get a reasonably smooth feel.

So drop your RESOLUTION or SETTINGS to maintain a clean 60 FPS and the game will feel awesome.

SOUNDS: in menus it's annoying & the music is straight to 0% for all PRO'S, on track the sound is great even on built-in sound cards, delivering a great feel for the engines state.

Manual shifting on a set of flappy paddles is made easier as you can hear the engine cry out: PLEASE SHIFT UP !!!

The GARAGE in the pits allows you to truly mess up your car settings beyond belief but you can always save them before.

Overall I see plenty of fun with different levels of play, from easy to pro, inc. custom /manual or auto gears / full traction or partial / auto brake to manual it's all there.......
