This thread is to give a brief description of the missions currently available on the 'SPARTA - Tac' server.

 

Please discuss the actual missions elsewhere to keep this thread clean Ta.

If the mission requires ACE it will be on the ACE Tac server otherwise the Tac server.

 

If you need a server turned off or on please ask any of the admins.

Mission name: Liquid Assets

 

For up to 6 players

 

Map Takistan no mods required

 

No respawns or JIP, Revives from zero to infinite set in parameters

 

Mission starts at night (very bright), fixed kits only no ammo crate.

 

Please thank Dai-san for his work here http://www.legionofspartans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6763 and if 4 to 6 ppl start this mission with NO revives and complete all objectives with no loss of life I would be impressed :thumbsup_anim: enjoy.

Mission name: Witch Fire

 

Mission Duration: 30-60min

 

Number of Players: up to 9, however, 5 or less players and the mission will remove 4 groups of opfor to make mission manageable.

 

Map: Arma2 - Chernarus - no mods required

 

Extras:

- 2 respawns and JIP, plus each player has 1 revive and after that medic only revive.

- mission starts at 4am, fixed kits - no ammo crate.

 

Briefing -

Listen up Ghosts - satellites have detected major Russian troop movements on the Northern border of Chernarus near Pobeda Dam. It appears that the Russians are preparing for another major assault and we need to neutralise the attack before it happens. Fortunately, the satellite images have revealed the location of a Russian forward command post at Devil's Castle, the medieval fortress a few miles North of the airbase. Your primary objective is to infiltrate the HQ and recover any intel detailing Russian battle plans.

 

You will insert at dawn when Russian forces are least prepared for an attack but move carefully and Watch for patrols. There has been a lot of troop movement over the last 48 hours and armor units have been sighted moving through the AO.

 

We have intercepted radio transmissions from Devil's Castle and your second objective is to find and disable this transmitter. You would be wise to do this early - if you let the Russian garrison radio for help you could have a major firefight on your hands. You will require explosive ordinance to destroy it.

 

Finally, one of the armor units is a mobile SAM site which has been painting aircraft as they leave the airbase. Fortunately, none of our aircraft have been targeted yet, however, until this threat is eliminated our air assets will remain grounded. Destroying this SAM site will be your final objective for this mission.

Mission name: Convoy Ambush

 

For up to 6 players

 

Map Takistan no mods required (Regular Arma2 may be required, I dunno)

 

No respawns or JIP, Revives from zero to infinate set in parameters

 

Mission starts in the late afternoon. Fixed kits only no ammo crate.

 

Mission Overview: Good Morning. Our HUMINT team has gotten some information of a Takistani Republican Guard convoy moving two SCUD missle carriers and six supporting vehicles from Jiluvar to Mulladost. We will be dropping you into a general area that we think is best to successfully eliminate the convoy. You may or may not need to relocate depending on the situation on the ground. Eliminate the entire convoy. There are many ways to approach the objective, but only one acceptable outcome. Good luck and God Speed.

 

Notes: Choose your ambush site wisely. Take inventory of all weapons and remember the number of vehicles in the convoy. Your assets are limited.

Mission Name Freedom: of the Press

 

For up to 6 players

 

Map Zagrabad no mods required

 

No Respawn or JIP revives adjustable form 1 to 5

 

Mission is very earley morning at start with fixed kits.

 

Mission Brief at start: "Settle down gentlemen,... As usual one of the press corps knew better than his PSD team and wandered off while trying to get an interview with Mussad Al Jazzaree. He ended up with more than he bargained for and is now being held in a compound near Zagrabad while the Takistan Militia decide if he is more valuable alive as a bargaining chip or dead broadcast as a celebrity beheading.Personally I would prefer the later as he managed to get two of his PSD team killed and one injured with his little stunt but unfortunately, or fortunately for him I suppose, I don't get to make the call.So, we have been tasked with getting the little asswipe back and I don't want his stupidity to cost any more lives, so no unecessary risks.Good luck gentlemen, and be safe!"

Mission name: Splintered Shield

 

Mission Duration: 60min

Map: Arma2/OA - Shapur - no mods required

 

Extras:

- 2 respawns and JIP, plus each player has 1 revive and after that medic only revive.

Briefing -

Take a knee men and let's go over the brief one more time.

 

We are in Shapur, the industrial sector west of Zargabad which is currently being held by the Takistanis who have shut down the oil supply from the region. A British Special Forces unit attempted to secure the sector yesterday but were taken prisoner and are being held in the military base in the heart of Shapur.

 

The Takis have warned that any rescue attempt will result in the execution of these prisoners and that their only chance of freedom will come if the allied

forces agree to end operations in Takistan - we know that won't happen. Our orders are to free the hostages and secure the base. We must avoid detection until we have eyes on the Brits and can ensure their safety. Once the base is secure we are to hold until reinforcements arrive.

 

We will begin our mission from the granite factory north of Shapur and proceed south to the objective. Stay low

and move carefully - we only have one shot at this. Any questions? Ok, let's roll.

Briefing -

Ok Ghosts, we've been tapped for a search and rescue. Our A-10s have been flying sorties against insurgent positions from our airbase in

Takistan over the last few weeks. Earlier today, the bad guys got lucky with a SAM and took out one of our planes. We think the pilot bailed

out before impact, but have had no word since the plane disappeared off our radar.

 

The A-10 was on a flight path heading south-east from Rasman Military Base when the pilot called in the SAM strike. Satellite thermal

images show a heat source that we believe to be the location of the crash site. Your primary objective is to recon the crash site and find

our missing pilot.

 

Be aware that this region has seen heavy fighting between Takistan forces and insurgents. The insurgents are using the mountain passes

to the east to transport drugs and weapons across the border into Tajikstan and they are determined to keep that supply line open. The

fighting got so bad that the Takistan forces recently abandoned their military outpost in Garmsar and coalition forces are yet to restore

security to this region. What this means for you Ghosts is that you may be greeted with the same level of hostility. Move cautiously and

take plenty of ammunition in case things go hot.

 

Once you have completed your objectives you are to radio in to command and we will issue coordinates for an extraction by chopper. Any

questions? Alright then men it's time to gear up - you lift off in 1 hour.

Briefing -

Grab a seat men - we have word just in from one of our informants that a Taliban

Warlord has been sighted in Nagara and is preaching the word to local followers - roughly

translated, this means the Taliban are planning bombing attacks in key locations

across Takistan. We are sending you in immediately to capture this leader and bring him back to base in one piece. Killing him would be too

easy and trigger more violence across Takistan. However, keeping him alive could prove a valuable bargaining chip with which to secure

peace in the region. He will be found in the village church and capturing him will be your primary objective for this mission.

 

Our informant has also advised us that the Taliban will be delivering several shipments of weapons which are to be transported out of

Takistan via Naygul Valley to the west and into Afghanistan. You are to destroy this cargo as it unloads in the village. According to

the informant, the shipments will arrive by truck some time after your insertion. Command will contact you by radio when we can provide intel

on their exact arrival time.

 

Your final objective for this mission is to search the village for explosive devices and disable them. We know that the insurgents were

preparing them for the terrorist attacks but we have no figure on the exact number of devices they have at their disposal.

 

Once you have completed your objectives you are to head to the EZ marked on your maps where our informant is waiting for you. At this

point Command will arrange for your exfil by chopper. Alright Ghosts - grab your kits and prepare to move out in 40 minutes.

Mission name: co@07_Crash_and_GrabNOREVIVE01.Chernarus (THIS IS ACTUALLY FOR 8 PPL I WILL CORRECT LATER)

 

Number of Players: up to 8

 

Map: Chernarus

 

Mods: @SPARTAACE1.11 the latest ACE stable version

 

The mission uses ACE wounds with everybody able to use injections etc (ONLY MEDIC CARRIES MEDPACKS) cos these units are supposed to be special forces.

 

Fixed kits.

 

No specific slot or equipment is required to complete the mission you have to Rescue a pilot and reach the evac point to achieve success.

 

There is a helo insert and it is a good 15 min run (or panting walk stamina is on) before you have to go 'aware'. Mission starts earley morning (a little dark) and with the grass on looks awesome. This is a small edit I have made of AnimalMother 92s work.
