Putin boasts he has a better plane than the F22

Recommended Posts

Well thats a slick rigg, it takes a little more then neeto shapes to become stealth. Some radar absorbing carbon paint, and some outher tricks as well. But does it have super cruse abiltiy like the f22, That is the means of going supersonic for long pariouds of time instead of just a shot spert of speed. There trying, but don't have the missle technoligy and engine teck as well.

Soon they will be pilotless drones that can turn at 50g or more out turn them and shoot them down in plain sight.

Unfortunately, the US will be unable to fund a lot of aircraft, piloted or otherwise in the years to come, while China's defense spending is forecast to match that of the US in 12 years or so. After that, it will be in the lead.

China's theft of technology represents another serious problem.

In the meantime, China and Russia continue to work together to destabilize the US economy, much like the US did to undercut the USSR (such as convincing the Saudis to keep oil prices low to deprive the USSR of oil revenue.) Russia and China have implemented numerous agreements to conduct trade in currencies other than the dollar. Removing the dollar as the world's reserve currency, especially the reserve currency for petroleum trading, will increase costs to the US for imports (The US doesn't have to pay a conversion fee to convert its currency into the reserve currency at present, but will have to as countries leave the dollar. Further, because there will be fewer dollar users, the dollars will be worth less, and will buy less.

The optimistic view is that for most of the last few thousand years, China has been the top power in the world and didn't use their power to attempt to conquer the world.

Well that maybe, we still lead in technoligy and will lead for sometime. they will try to get there but it will still be behind. X47 is flying now. predatior drones are flying now. Not long for the first unmaned fighters to hit the skys.

But you can build the coolest plane to ever fly. its the missle technoligy that determines who the victor is in todays and the future battlefeild.

And after what happend a couple of days ago im starting to beleve that.

I heard there ecnomonys arnt so well eather.

WASHINGTON ? Moscow is to increase its annual defense spending by 59 percent by 2015 as it attempts to modernize its military ? while the United States looks to ways to downside in the face of major spending cuts, according to a report from Joseph Farah?s G2 Bulletin.

Increased spending reflects the latest in Russia?s military doctrine that is meant to address its security strategy and what it defines as threats to the homeland. Among the five points outlined by then-Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev ? called the Medvedev Doctrine ? Russian defense doctrine calls for protecting its citizens ?wherever they may be.?

?Our foreign policy decisions will be based on this need,? Medvedev said. ?We will also protect the interests of our business community abroad. It should be clear to all that we will respond to any aggressive act committed against us.?

One element in redefining its regional and global outlook is Russia?s new doctrine in not accepting the monopoly the United States has over the global system. This also includes not accepting the Western alliance of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to barge in on its regional area of influence.

Russia is expected to concentrate its modernization efforts in command and control structures and the ability to project its conventional forces within its regional area of influence, designed primarily to project Russia itself while relying more on its nuclear arsenal to thwart attempts to gain influence by other countries.

In an effort to streamline its command and control structure into joint strategic commands, the military will create four districts to replace the original six it has had. Within each, the military?s air, land and sea components will operate independently from military forces in the other districts.

It also will transform brigades into stand-alone self-sufficient units while reducing the number of brigades in an effort to fully man them. The idea is to create a more rapid force with greater flexibility while doing away with complicated command structures that existed under the military?s previous structure. This will bring down the number of brigades from 85 to 64.

The new arrangement also calls for cutting military personnel from 1.2 million to some one million with a change in the numbers of officers, non-commissioned officers and enlisted personnel.

Analysts say these changes are designed to create greater civilian control over the military by placing more civilians in the defense ministry. In addition, the general staff will report only to the defense minister, although previously they reported directly to the Russian president.

By placing the military under firmer civilian control, it is expected that it will shift the power balance away from the general staff, while the GS itself will be downsized, as well as create more incentive for reforms in the years ahead.

Russian military reform has been seriously under way since Russian President Vladimir Putin became president the first time, even though there was no discernible plan to do so until recently. While this latest effort is to redefine its military doctrine from the old Soviet days, there will be major constraints, including the ability to pay for it. That depends on how high or low the price of Russia?s oil exports go.

It still has dated ? some outdated ? military equipment and weapons which gradually will need to be replaced. The annual increases in budget have sought to do just that.

However, Russia will need to rely on increased military funding not only to maintain its current combat capability but to increase it to meet its local, regional and global military commitments. In so doing, Moscow will need to determine what its military priorities will be.

And China has copied our space plane as well. Yes, it's not as good. But when I was a kid, our country was light years ahead of the Chicoms both economically and militarily. Now it's just years. One is on the rise, the other is not.

  • 1 year later...

Now we are all missiled up. This show was done a few years ago. there are newer missiles and technology out there now. Doesen't matter what kind of cool plane some can dream up. its the missile that will shoot them down. Eather air to air ground to air, or heat, radar, lazar guided. No plane has a chance. unless stealth, but still has heat signature. Its a tough world out there on the modern battlefield. The U.S planes are the best in defeating all of the missiles, and will continue to be so due to we spend millions in research and testing to be sure of total air supremacy. When the U.S rolls in, the bad guys eather run or die. When a Carrier group arrives off your coast, now its time to worrie. They can be anywhere in the world in 24hrs. Every Carrier group has nuclear capability as well.

Intresting fake, I think that the space shuttle came apart on rentry as they said. That vid I put up was suppost to be at Groom lake area 51 where we do all the secret testing of exparmental aircraft being developed and tested of a new designs type fighter, they said the f117 was a ufo due to no one ever saw a design like that to fly before. They say the area 51 is closed now and a new facility has been built some miles away from the old one.

But kind of hard to vid the blown apart space shuttle with nothing else around that close to it with a camra on it. it was flying buy itself.

All kinds of supposed sightings happen there, after all where are we going to test the secret stuff at?

Kelly Johnson and the skunk works tested the sr71 and the u2 there as well. Roomors have it the ARORIA is tested there as well.

Theres a whole series on area 51 with bob lasare working there reverse engineering alien technoligy and that has suspost to have giving us the LASER, the integrated circuit, fiber optics and a few outher cool inovations that just kind of pop up out of no where. Nobody knows for sure whats up there or new designs being tested. Kind of makes you wonder on what we are working on next??????????? The HAUNABU, nobody knows.

Bud you can believe what you would like, but the source, "ThirdPhaseoftheMoon", are a pair of known charlatans, who have been caught out fabricating their own sightings. I am sure Area 51 or whatever it is called does test out fantastic new gear that is probably way ahead of its time. But when you look at the object in the video, you can see elements of existing aircraft fitted together. The multiple wing extensions are fragile and inefficient, so it cant fly fast, therefore not an interceptor and the fragility rules out ground attack. The shape is not stealthy and the missiles look a bit retro.

I don't give a crap about the vid, that was just for fun, but the last part of the post has some real meaning.

How did Texas insternents all the sudden come up with the IC? and few outher cool things poped up out of no where.

And yes Groom lake is or where it used to be the major advanced technology aircraft testing sight, for the U.S

theres a new place called area 52 now. that is where our cool stuff comes from. Area 52 can't even be videoed at all.

Roomer has it the ARORIA is being tested there, it goes mach 25 hypersonic fighter and is powered buy ion pulse engine, leaveing the chain of ropes con trail. but that's only roomer. and you diden't hear it from me.

The point im getting to is the soviets and china are testing their cool stuff, wicth is already obsolete.
