In case someone still plays this... i do Check this out: http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/ The actionmapper is a little application in Java thhat allows to set all of your commands the way you like wiith no manual ediiting of the XML anymore. Is great and simple, finally I got my Joy to work the way I like !!! Throttle doesn t work on the slider yet, but I assigned 2 bottons (accellerate and decelerate) and is working great. Actually I am using a config Joy with left hand, mouse with right hand, having Mech direction on X Joy axis while kkeeping torso twisting and full aim control on mouse for better precision. Firing groups are on mouse and all of the useful Joy bottons are mapped to not use the keyboard anymore. However I still use the keyboard when being a BA. You can playy around with the actionmapper and find the config that best fit for you. First of all backup the actionmap you have, and then when u save the new one, "overwrite" thhe old one.
