How to wash the toilet

Remember this is a joke.

How to wash a toilet

1. Put both lids of the toilet up

And add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close the lid.

You may need to stand on the lid.

4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds.

Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times.

This provides a 'power-wash' and rinse'.

6. Have someone open the front door of your home.

Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift the lid.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom,

And run outside where he will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

Having owned several cats, I defy anyone to be able to do this. You know th eold adage that a cat always lands on it's feet?

in this type of situation (closest I've been is trying to put cat in carrier) it's amazing where they can put their feet to actually keep them out of something. Add to this the proximity to water, something the average cat hates and you'd be lucky to escape without a trip to A&E!

  • 2 weeks later...

lol.... I can confirm Watchies view my cats hate going to the vetenarian, I can't get them in the box without 2 pair of gloves and a lot of luck.....

Once we went on vacation and just moved were we were didn't know any neighbours to take care of the cats so we dropped them in an asilum for 2 weeks.... when we dropped them an English friend of mine decided to give my pookie a last cuddle before leaving.... I went to hospital with him to have him stitched up. My cats went up to have a cage of their own.... no other cat could sit unharmed with them in proximity....lol.

Lucky we have good friends nextdoor that take care of our cats (old couple that never go on holidays, perfect....) but I'm afraid for the holiday season as we will be away during silvester with all the fireworks going off.....

I have had many cats over the years. One time I went to viset my brother who has 2 cats and he gives them a bath. I said you are a glutten for punishment. He has a wash tub and gets the warm soapy water ready. Then gets his welding gloves on, and then grabbs a cat. Then he holds the 2 front leggs in one hand and the rear leggs in the outher. He has a ferm gripp on the kitty and gently dunks them in the warm water. Man to say the least. It is a wrestling macth! But he holds them ferm and never gets there heads wet. I trying to help, went to try and sooth the critter and pet his head and he dam near bitt my hand off. So I said to kitty, you on your own now bud! Enjoy!!! I won't be involved in that deal again!
