Economic considerations for DCS (but also Star Citizen)

This guy puts forward an interesting view on the economic realities for DCS (but they apply to other gaming companies as well).

We could very easily substitute 'Star Citizen' for 'DCS'

This goes for many games these days..... though for DCS there is less competition because it serves a niche market, other games are less fortunate (viking sims, medieval city builders etc. etc.) Only a few strike gold (like Valheim for instance)
