Zeno~SPARTA~
I thought I would have a look at Space Engineers to see what Improvements I could make to my station and ships. I few files would not open but I managed to recover all of my ships and the space station. The only problem is the elevator mod doesn't work for now. In this station the elevators are very useful. custard~SPARTA~
There is one elevator mod but two sets of blocks in it an original method block and a 'new method block' I would hope the mods not completely broken and it would be a relatively quick fix to change, I think, its just two blocks in each elevator. Zeno~SPARTA~
There is a recent problem with the elevators, someone has changed the code to fix it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1154898843&searchtext=vcz+elevator Just swap this mod for the old one and the existing elevators will work. Zeno~SPARTA~
I have been amusing myself trying to master Vectored Thrust. I started by converting my shuttle. I had forgotten that I used a mod for rotors that allowed 1x1 advanced rotors, instead of 3x3. So after I finished the first version using the mod I set about building one without mods. This is much more ungainly but at least it works. Then I set about building an atmospheric attack craft to deal with nearby NPCs, Its not bad looking, but not as effective as I had hoped. Zeno~SPARTA~
I have built a new earth base in two parts. The first is a horizontal shaft into the face of a mountain, the second is a vertical shaft with an elbow at the base of the mountain. At the moment the first houses my Shuttles, atmospheric Cargo vehicles and Utility Vehicles. The second holds my Fighters and industrial area (down another shaft deeper underground) At the moment there is a large external footprint, as the base evolves I will reduce the external part. I have been using stone finish blocks to further reduce the visibility. Here is the horizontal storage area.
Zeno~SPARTA~
These are the 2 entrances that are closed with hinges And this is the industrial area And these are the hot seats for getting into tight places. The driller is only for excavating, the only storage is the dril itself, the welder can store in the connector.

Zeno~SPARTA~
There's a lot less clang with hinges. Even now every time I jump into the game a bunch of the vector thrust ship have their nacelles spinning madly. Now I turn the power off in those ships until I use them.
