Mean wile tower 7 is ready to go in service, brand new engine 101 got in a crash responding to a call, She got hit on the front right tire and glanced off the truck to the front, OUCH

20160831_070521_zps4hhdlozn.jpg

Wile the damage doesen't look that bad, Got hit right on the tire, took a chunk out of the tire, causeing it to go flat, the fender flair, bumper extention and bumper support and bumper as well, thats a stainless steel bumper.

Apon fearther inspection found that the hit was so hard it sheared the front left spring schackel mount off the frame ( missing huck bolts) and bent the spring as well

Well one of our older tower trucks got into a misshap wile out on the road, the bad thing about this tower design is the out swing that occures when turning, the bucket swings far out and struck a semi truck next to it, and as you can tell its not good

hehe... NO PICTURE!! yeah the FBI has never liked pictures of anything involving them...

When I lived in Africa, the military police were essentially posse, judge & jury since it was a military dictatorship.

It was common if you raised a camera to take a picture of something they considered sensitive, to suddenly see a hand blocking your lens and some officer shouting at you "NO PICTURE!"

Since this officer was usually holding a 45cal 1911 automatic, and his group of soldiers behind him were all holding M16's.... nobody argued with these guys... regardless of who they were.

You saying no picture allowed brought back those memories. :)

yes... you should see some of the 4x4's running around here by the border patrol. They have these huge optical and thermal imaging cameras mounted on the roof or on deploy-able towers. They can sit back on a hill top and watch things very closely several miles away.

Here are some examples we have here in southern AZ.

Many of them include Optics, thermals and radar.
