DaiSan
Yeah, now if they can just fix the memory leak, core affinity, stuttering and crashing issues then we're all good.
Zathrus~SPARTA~
yes, alpha's are always fun in this regard. (sarcasm) I have some friends in another group who have been hitting it hard. They are reporting this morning, they had a very smooth 20+ min. session.... but at the end of that crashed to a blue screen... which ain't good but not all that surprising either, they are doing things with this engine that have never been done before with this engine. I am guessing the memory leak may be the source of a blue screen since their session did go very well for over 20 min. They are running i5 processors and GTX970's in their systems. Cylawyer~SPARTA~
I played for an hour and a half last night and never crashed. Saw no jitter or anything except my 315P on the landing platform did a small dance. This is on my antiquated rig with just a first gen I5 750 and a GTX 570 video card with 12 gb of ram. Zathrus~SPARTA~
yeah.. it looks to me like ram usage is killing some rigs. This is probably due to running out of vram. Likely any video card with less than 3 gigs of Vram will be overcome by this game me thinks, unless you have an enormous amount of very fast system ram it can use when vram begins to run low.
