Trials Idea - cancelled for now

I had proposed this idea, but I beat his SLS time after 2 laps, so we will scrap this until I understand why that happened.

 

I watch a lot of videos on youtube of road cars being tested by racing drivers on tracks.

 

One of my favourites is Randy Pobst on the Motor Trend Channel, here for example is his back to back test between a Porsche 918 and a MacLaren P1 at Laguna Seca.

 

 

Project Cars has the P1 included as well as Laguna Seca, Pobst put in a 1:30:710 in the P1 in the video (watch around 17 mins if you dont want to watch the whole video). There will be other videos featuring cars and track included in Project Cars. We could have challenges where we need to beat the featured video.

 

The P1 was tough for Pobst so I would propose the Mercedes AMG SLS which he drove also at Laguna Seca with a time of 1:38:820 as our first challenge.
