C'etait un rendevous was filmed illegally on the streets of Paris at 0530 in August 1976. Directed by Claude Lelouch. It depicts a car, that sounds like a Ferrari, though we never see it, hurtling through the streets of Paris from the Port Dauphine to the "rendevous" at the Sacre Couer Basilica. In its day it was very evocative and I often listen to this with the volume high just to hear the engine sounds reverberate around the house.
