Desert Siege in Arma2 Beta Testers required

Hey guys

 

I don't have a great deal of time nowadays for Arma2 and would prefer to spend the time building the Desert Siege coop campaign set up for coop tournament play.

I would like LoS players to help me beta test the missions to determine level of difficulty and adjust the missions.

 

You will need ACE2 - only for the wounding system at this stage and possibly water crossings (gives you 2 min to cross a waterway before losing gear).

 

You will need Dingor (the Desert version of Lingor) - http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16908

 

and Lingor v1.4 - find it in the same link.

 

and TF86 seals v1.2 - http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?96954-TF86-Navy-SEALs-Pack

 

and Molatian Units - http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9012 or Isla Duala

 

This mission will provide points depending on number of objectives completed.

Once the team thinks they can't complete any more or have completed all objectives, they radio Eagle One to end mission and receive points score.

you're going to have to give me a lil more time sorry - i have a couple of small things i want to address b4 we trial these.

when everything is in place i will propose the date n time - i should have about 2 or 3 missions ready to go at that stage so we can test a couple at least.

have to throw in the ACE2 wounding too quickly.

second mission is ready for beta testing - so hope to see you on Saturday nite. Looking for 8 players per mission.

 

is there any room for me the EBEmaster2000..

when I load my game with Dingor I get an error message

 

Addon ibr_dingor requires addon lingor roads

 

If I launch the game anyway and try to play your mission it fails to launch referring to deleted content

 

molation:army, ibr_datsun

 

I have lingor 1.1, I downloaded lingor 1.4 from http://www.armaholic...ge.php?id=10792 and that cleared the first problem but I still got the error message when I launched your mission

 

I have lingor units v1.0, I downloaded lingor units 1.3 from http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=13053 believing this might fix the problem but it did not.

 

So to be clear i launched

 

Dingor v1.0

Lingor v1.4

Lingor units v1.3

TF86 seals mod

 

but your mission fails to launch reporting this error "molation:army, ibr_datsun" which I think has something to do with lingor units.

 

Dai, none of the mods indicated above are on the server as far as I know.

Right, this is my shortcut and I get no errors until i try to launch the mission: "H:\Games\ArmA 2\arma2oa.exe" -nosplash -mod=@CBA1;@dc;@sthud;@stmove;@podagorsk;@fastrope;@TF86;@dingor;@lingor;@mbg;@lingor_units

 

The ones you need are the @TF86 @dingor @lingor @mbg (this is the mbg_buildings mod) and @lingor_units

 

The mission error is because Lightspeed has used a Datsun truck from the Molatian Army Mod

 

I suggest Lightspeed edits the mission and swaps this unit out rather than us all having to have another MOD active and uploaded to the server.

 

Ain't ArmA grand?

Apart from the molation army and datsun mod I think I will be fine, although I dont have the mbg mod (I thought that was incorporated into lingor)

 

I have downloaded the following mods onto the server, they are in the stock server, but I havent changed the firedaemon shortcut.
