Ugh, I can't stand that dude, but whatever floats yer boat, hehe. The Men's 100m heats are today, happening right now actually. Looks like they will be running just about every day from here on out.

(I can't believe how easy on the eyes some of these female javelin throwers are, wow!)

Had tickets for the Stadium today morning session

Noise was incredible for the home athletes (and Bolt), they also gave roaring support to non Brits in particular the womens hep long jump and javelin

Very dissapointed that Bolt and the other Jamacan eased up so much in there 100 heats, the Americans didn't which is why one of them went sub 10 sec I would have loved to have seen Bolt do that.

I will never forget today, my hands are sore and I have only just got my voice back from screaming so much

Don't usually watch sports, but I did today and what a day.

France vs USA mens doubles Final

UK vs Germany Mixed doubles Semi Final

Womens Triathlon

Womens Team Pursuit

Mens Omnium

Womens Heptathlon

Mens 10,000 meters

Mens Long Jump

Mens Medley Relay

For once I wish I was there, whilst I am disinterested in sport spectating, I loathe crowds. But still both the velodrome this morning and the olympic stadium this evening were memorable.

Awesome

I've always loved playing sports, but could never hold the attention to watch them. I'll sit down and watch some American college football, but the non-traditional sports like you see in the Olympics has always captured my attention like a mosquito to a bug zapper. I get very little sleep during these events, lol.

My favorite track/field events are the long jump, pole vault, and discus.

My last two years of high school I decided to try long jump after my attempts at baseball failed. My last (and best) jump was recorded at 17ft, 11in, which is about 5.48 meters, so I could probably compete against one or two women at London, lol. It's actually pretty good for a short white guy with a football player's build. :winner_first:

I was trying desparately to get my sister-in-law (she works for Latvia's Olympic Committee) to get me an autographed photo of Ikauniece, but the wife wouldn't let me talk to her today. Ugh. Wives....always getting in the way lol. We got some cool stuff from Vancouver. Hopefully The summer guys will bring back more.

This steeplechase race is pretty interesting so far....

1-1, soft goal from a corner. Still an even game, could go either way.

Canadian number 11 must be the smallest player out there but she's amazing, tremendous work rate. Oh, and their number 6 seems to have escaped from the Timotei ad, photos later.

2-1 to the Canucks, cracking header!

I watched track cycling

Laura trott Omnium Gold

Ed Clancy Omnium Bronze

Jason Kenny Sprint Gold

Victoria Pendleton Sprint Silver

Sir Chris Hoy Keirin Gold

Well done Anna Meares (AUS), shame about the elbow, but a dominant second round.

Very exciting viewing

Doctor replies it will pass its the constant scrolling to find out were you are in the medals table.

Apologies wife heard this from an OZ workmate yesterday couldn't resist.

The Scottish National Party, the ruling local government party, have planned a referendum on independence in 2014. Our PM tried to force a referendum on them this year as he believed it would get a no vote. That failed & the 2014 plan is still on track.
